So sorry to hear of the storm damage to peoples property. Thankfully no lives were lost (that I am aware of). Rich South High School/Red Cross did an outstanding job at housing and caring for some of the families that lost they're homes.

If you are looking for a reputable contractor for repairs be sure to check with city hall, the Red Cross or the BBB before you hire a contractor. If you are approached by a guy named Steve Langdoc of Total Improvement or Total Home Improvement from Kankakee Run Do Not Walk away from him this guy is a scam/con artist and he may try to find "work" in our area.
