Not a fan of NObama, but he does NOT control the price of crude or gas.

Thank the scum bags on Wall St and the idiots that buy "futures" for that.

America is still in the midst of the worst jobs crisis since the Great Depression, with chronic unemployment at record levels.

The federal government has grown while the middle class has shrunk. Our national debt ($6 TRILLION more than when he took office)grows by the day. Our position of strength in the world is diminished.

After an $800 billion stimulus package, a litany of new regulations, and a federal takeover of health care, the recovery we were promised has remained the most sluggish on record.

The President has denied Virginia and other states the ability to tap the energy resources available in the deep waters off our coast, a responsible proposal that would create jobs and grow our economy. Meanwhile, gas prices have doubled since the President took office and he has failed to offer a coherent energy plan for America.

Just passed the gas station. Obama raised it another 8 cents a gallon from yesterday. Wonder if he is going to blame it on more wind?
You're a complete idiot. No President has controls over the price of gas or prices in general on anything. This is a free-market economy and its about how much the public will stand.
I dare say the price of gas is tied to how the Oil industry(Koch sucking weasels)need to help fund more bogus videos about Islams Muhammad.
PS. You live near a large University, why not ask some of those economic professors to shed some light on why gas prices are the way they are/don't keep relying on you limited understanding, help is just across UVAs lawn.

Obama Gas Hike wrote:
How is a price hike of 12 cents stabilizing? Obama will bankrupt us all in 4 more years!
It'll be a good thing when all you whites are bankrupt. Then an only then will you learn not to take your meager earnings as a license to taunt and tease the least of Gods creation.
The playing field will be leveled when all whites are in the same boat as poor folk. Its just right around the corner.

Considering how much of our state economy is based on tourism and fishing, it seems foolish to risk our economic health on offshore drilling, despite all the assurance that spills don't happen anymore. You may be forgetting that the President DID open Virginia to offshore drilling a month before the gulf spill, but closed it back up following the spill. You may also be forgetting that oil companies are not yet drilling on around half of the leases they half already been granted, despite the huge tax breaks they have been given to enable them to do so, and that any new offshore leases would take over 5 years before the first drop of oil flowed to increase supply.

There is much to blame the president for, but oil prices does not make the list.

Perhaps you should READ the posts you respond to.

I said NObama was NOT responsible for the price of crude or gas.

Congratulations. You have entered the nothead zone of foolish replies.
