Same old story, the city of Richmond's Schools are inept and operate below national standards all the while charging more per student than any other city in the state.

This is not a new story it is one that rears it's ugly head every few years and then the cities school board has to eat some crow because they have not been able to fix the problem and probably never will.

It is no wonder that most parents opt to send their children to private schools for the better education and realistic requirements to better prepare these kids for the future.

When the city can get quality teachers, a school board that can actually do something besides spend more money than anyone else, fix the derelict schools, fix the ADA problems, remedy the sorry test scores and get the kids to want to learn and provide them with an environment that encourages this then maybe the problem will be solved.Maybe
