I guess because it was the police his wife could have been murdered also. If police panic so fast they should wait to stop and surprise someone walking in or out of a building and not go in after them. This police officer clearly did not have what it takes to be in this kind of situation .

I'm not a biker but a motorcyclist, Ive riden with many folks from all over. These can be a rough bunch BUT I've never had a problem with any. You know why? Respect! them & their's plan & simple! I', sorry to say we no longer live in a free country but a police state! The police investigation will say the officer did nothing wrong. At least they didn't murder Cathy too !

Intimidation and Execution without a trial...

The Romans used it, and the great Roman Empire fell.

Hitler Used it and Germany fell.

The Communists used it and the Soviet Union fell.

Now the US is using it... and it soon will fall!

It's time the Sheeples in America WAKE UP!

Trigger happy Storm Troopers coming to a neighbor, relative or friend's house near you.

It's time for a REVOLUTION!

I sat here and listened to everyone post their "comments" on what they "thought" had happened. The reality is, none of you were there! No one, but those on that morning know the truth of what really happened. No one! Those of you who knew him are going to defend him. In your eyes, he probably was a decent person. But has anyone stopped to think what he might have done when no one was looking? I guarantee he treated his family with love and cared for them very deeply, and my heart goes out to the family for their loss.
I remember the last time a police officer was killed in the line of duty, where were your comments then? None of you spoke that the cop didnt deserve it. The comments included that the cop was probably wrong and he got what he deserved. You people sit back and judge what they do in a bad light, but God forbid do you need them, then they are never there on time or doing what they're supposed to do. Remember, they have families too and want to go home at the end of their shift. If someone pulled a gun on you while you were doing your job, would you wait to see if they are going to drop their gun before you defended yourself? No. I am truly sorry that Mr. Hicks died. But Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs are not the Boy Scouts. Grow up cyclists. Find something more productive to do.

OMG:

There are laws in this country. Laws that ALL americans need to follow..bikers AND police officers. I'm not slamming all cops. But they do get training (we hope) and they need to follow the law just like you, I, everyone. There should NOT be another set of laws for them.

Unfortunately, when cops make mistakes they're big mistakes. Same goes for a Dr. When they mess up...it could involve a loss of life. I believe this is exactly what happened. Someone was overzealous. And whoever that person was, even though he/she was a cop---needs to take ownership of their mistake.

If you or I "accidentally" kill someone, you had better believe we're going to jail!

You're right...only the people who were there know what happened. unfortunately, one person can't tell his side of the story...he's dead.

All cops are not bad---and in the same breathe---not all cops are perfect.

Okay, picture this, 6 a.m. someone kicks your door down without stating who they are, your wife and kids are home, you grab your gun to PROTECT your family, the cops ask you to put your gun down and you go to set it on the ground and they shoot you, now your family and kids are alone. Have some heart. Get all the facts before you speak.

OH YEAHHHHH! We need to grow up? You guys need to step back and see all the things we do for your community.

All these drugs dealers are out here "slanging" dope everywhere, selling drugs to pregnant woman, but yet if we ride down the road on our bikes we are being a threat to society. Well you know what, when someone has a passion to ride it doesn't mean we are bad because we are in a motorcycle club, not a gang. We are NOT "bloods" or "crips" we are a FAMILY. No one seems to realize this. But now-a-days it's okay for there to be gangs but when there is a motorcycle club there is a problem with it. People need to realize that we are people just like everybody else. We do good things for the community. And if you people don't like it piss off. This is a brotherhood. And no that's not a brotha-hood, it's B-R-O-T-H-E-R-H-O-O-D. A family.

I haven't been in the MC but for maybe a year, but always loved and respected the Pagans. I am very sorry for your loss. And these people don't understand the brotherhood of an MC. I extend my love to your family and children, and to all my brothers that wear the 16. Wear it proudly.
Jimbo was a good brother, if you needed him he was always there. He would give you the shirt off his back. He loved to ride, he loved the 16.
Rest in peace brother, we miss you.

first let me say that I am a member of a MC that over history has had a few incidents with the Pagans but time resolved those. I have worked and road through 460 disputana waverly dinwiddie and have met Jimbo before with and without my cut on. Seemed like a nice guy always with a handshake when he saw me. What people fail to realize is this just because bikers have a vest with a logo we proudly display doesn't give the rest of you label us criminals. Every one has the constitutional right to assemble. Where is the bashing of clubs like blue knights or red knights or wait a minute the ATF. Just sorry that a "blood" or a "cryp" takes there bandanas and put it in there pockets why a police officer goes by. Well Bikers don't hide there cut for anybody and the reason is we have nothing to hide. If you idiots knew anything about what that cut means to us and the brotherhood that goes with it you might have a little different opinion. As it goes another biker is MURDERED! You people will always justify what you don't understand this man did not deserve to die because he was proud to be a Pagan. Isn't it ironic we Bikers are protected under the same rights and freedoms as the rest of society. Oh I forgot this is America we leave War heroes homeless and drug dealers in the ghetto who have never paid a days worth of taxes to ride in 50000 dollar s.u.v.s but a man with a love for brotherhood and a motorcycle is gone because of a cowboy cop wanting to make a name for himself this cop deserves to be thrown in jail for my protection as an American citizen not bikers.
I am truly Sorry for your loss this is senseless.

Any kind of a warrant gives the cops a reason for murder. It was murder in Wilmington, DE. And this case is murder also. Cops lie as much if not more than any crimal. It's open season on any motorcyle club, actually, it always has been, only now the cops get away with shooting first and then lie about it. Nothing will be done about the cop shooting Hicks because he was a Pagan. That's really sad.
