While I do agree that there was some unfortunate choices made...no seatbelts, driving too fast, too many in the car, etc...paying for those mistakes w/ your life is a pretty steep penalty. I feel for the families and the victims. I'm saddend beyond belief b/c as we all know, it could've EASILY been any one of our children who, despite all of our warnings, made decisions that cannot be taken back. We all were teenagers at some point, at thought ourselves invincible.
Let us all remeber not to judge too harshly. You are in my prayers.

I don't feel at all bad for the loss of this child. They were all being irresponsible on the road and in the vehicle as were ALL their parents for not driving them to the function themselves. Maybe this will teach the rest of those around them an important lesson.
Hope you can sleep at night after that comment. All kids do something stupid...some get away with it some pay the price. I hope if you have children you never have to feel the pain that this family has.

This is for Chris.
Why would anyone make such a comment If you cant say anything to console the family then dont say nothing at all. Teenagers do things without thinking you were one once. and shame on you for blaming the parents. when they are going through what no parent should have to go through. God bless this family and friends and help them all through this terrible tragedy.

No one knew this was going to happen.. What would you say if it was your family member that this happened too.? You wouldnt be saying that.. Yes, people have learned their lesson life is short.. But you dont have to blame it on the parents.. And this child as you say was the best darn friend anyone could ask for.. So if you dont have anything nice to say then dont pot anything..
&& R.I.P Anthony.. Your loved and missed..

First off, my condolences to the family. The loss of a child is the most unfortunate event any parent, or family all together, has to bare. But to this "Chris" character, who are you to judge? The comment you made was completely over your head and ignorant and Lord have mercy on you. I hope you're never put in this predicament. This is not a "that's what you get" scenario. This is a family losing a LOVED ONE! In order for you to judge this situation like you did you have to be holier than thou. I highly doubt that you are. Yes the speeding was a bit irresponsible, but put yourself in the family's shoes. What if it were your child? Would you be to blame too?
