This is the best I have seen yet. I actually got joy out of seeing her cry. While I think many can agree that she was crying for herself. She started the blubbering when she was hearing of how unfair she is being treated as in not being able to have a simple converstation as in saying I love you to her mom....boo f***ing hoo. And when she cried at the portrayal Ashton made of Caylee's death anyone can see it is more of a how can they discuss this in front of me cry, not at all of how this poor child suffered a horrible death. Not one shred of sympathy for Casey or George and Cindy's crocodile tears that should have been a long time coming. I bet any amount of money as well Lyon and Baez probably told her if you don't start showing some sympathy in court you will have a difficult time convincing a jury to have pity on you. That was where all the "emotion" came from no doubt. She managed to stay stone cold up until now that the death penalty is staring her in the face.

The death penalty should be abolished except for use against a public official that violates their oath of office.

i think she cried because she remembers how Caylee looked,(weither drugged or not) as she put the tape on her nose and mouth. And that was a fake cry. She needs the death penalty!! and dumba*s Lyon saying the state can not come up with a cause of death and nobody will ever know the cause of death makes me sick. she needs the death penalty too for trying 2 set free a child killer. RIP CAYLEE. Hopefully justice will be served!

I agree she's guilty, but I can't believe you have to be pro-death penalty to be on the jury. That's just strange and biased...

Slightly off-topic, but good to know:

In medical and legal terminology, DEATH is made up by two different components:
1) CAUSE of death, and
2) MANNER of death.

Cause of death is the internal, biological reason why life stops, most commonly: heart failure.
Remember, no matter what shape you're in, you're still alive as long as the hearts beats and you have a pulse.

Manner of death is the external reason, leading to the cause of death, e.g. extreme blood loss, blunt trauma, or a gunshot wound.

I totally agree with your post.
Casey didn't start crying until after Baez whispered in her ear, my bet is he gave her the go-ahead to start the show.

I don't know if you remember her first hearing.. the prosecutors spoke in great detail about the duct tape wrapped around Caylee's skull then also and Casey had no tear in her eyes. She didn't even appear slightly upset by what was being said. I don't know what makes her attorney's believe people will buy that girl's tears. She has only ever cried for herself.

Anyone know when Strickland will make his ruling on these latest motions?

I do remember that. It is obvious to you, me, and many other's who have followed this case closely from day one that she is being coached to show emotion. Not only her actions, but her family's have pretty much sealed her fate with the "public opinion". I think Baez or Lyons are hoping for that one juror that is not too familiar with her or the case that sees the emotion and feels sorry for her. It only takes one juror. That is the scariest thing I think facing the ones that want justice for Caylee so badly. It only takes one.
