This is a tragic situation that did not need to happen. We had been complaining to authorities for years about the people that lived in that house. The neighbors on Roundstone Drive know it was some form of half-way house for troubled and runway teens. Parties, fights and loud music were the norm. Defiant teens would block the street so that vehicles would have to stop as if you needed "permission" to drive down your own street. Perhaps the Fort Bend County Sherriff's office will learn a lesson from this and actually heed a neighbor's warning in the future.

How do these "halfway" houses get by in Pecan Grove? Are there not deed restrictions against "multiple families" residing in single family homes? There are several of these homes through out the entire subdivision. Strange.

IM SORRY TO THOSE NEIGHBOR's TO TEND TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SITUATION BUT FOR THE RECORD ALL THE "TROUBLE AND RUNAWAY TEEN" AS THEY SAY PUT IT , I GUESS DOING GOOD DEEDS AND HELPING OUT TEENS THAT ALWAYS TEND TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD AND NO ONE TAKES THEIR TIME TO HELP THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY HEAD ON THE RIGHT TRACK ... I GUESS HELPING OUT OTHERS CAN QUALIFY AS BEING DISTURBED AND GET BURNED WHEN A SITUATION LIKE THIS COMES ALONG ...

Worry about the "teens" not trying to improve their lives, not those in a "halfway house". Read the Bible.

in my opinion, this is a very sad story. in all actuallity two people died that night. one unfortunately lost her precious life and the other will loose his life as well in prison. god forgive him. I honestly think this sick kid never got the treatment he really needed. I think he did kill that girl. all the evidence is so obvious. blood in his home. his moms kitchen knife, his bloody clothes, and much more. I can't help by passing by that house and not stare. its so scary think think this kid lived in our neighborhood. with all our children out playing. all I can say is he's going to get what he deserves. and to the family of that girl... our prayers are with ya'll.
