I got a traffic violation for turning right on red. I stopped for at least a second, but over the first big white line. The cross traffic was on green and. Left so i was "protected" if that matters. No persons were around either.

What are my chances of getting the finr waived if I decide to appeal the fine?

Violation occured in Sugar Land, TX at Hwy 6 and Lexington.

Also, if i do appear in court and get denied, are there extra fees in addition to the fine?(court fees, ect,.)

Thanks for any help

Yeah, I was going to work one morning and I think those cameras on the top of the pole are too sensitive. I really dont like how it gave me a ticket on a right turn. I was making a right turn, its a pretty easy turn. Its making a hassle going to work at this internet company http://www.johnnychenseo.com . I am only trying to go to work and provide for the family. jeeze. I feel your pain.

Truly a sad day today especially when you have no job and then they served you a traffic violation paper in an early Friday morning of 7AM. Im in a positive spirit to look for a job and you know for a fact that 30 mph is a normal driving in the local highway, plus we are also new in the place(change of station)and I rarely drove on the area of Gravelly lake dr. Just on that early one day after I dropped off my kids in the day care( private pay because of long waiting lists or budget issue) We just move a few months ago here at Washington state I regret I left my previous job to join my hubby and we still need another source of income to be realistic in life. Life continue to throw us lemons. Why would the cop ask for my car registration when in fact he can check my sticker in the plate card and it is not going to expire yet? I handed my valid driver's license to him and the penalty is beyond I couldn't imagine. Can I request for a reduced fine for a 20-zone traffic violation? Now I don't feel like going outside with that penalty so high you rather stayed home. It was soo frustrating. Not fun at all. I was actually thinking of contributing $40 to KLove radio station before it happens, sadly I will pay to the treasure chest that you don't feel like you violated anything. Life moves on.

I do not understand how those traffic cameras work either. You try to follow the law and make your way into the office at http://www.seoshouston.com then net thing you know you have a ticket from a traffic cam show up in the mail.
