#2 Apr 20, 2010 of the very few shining stars that Mexico has (had) at the moment, role model, sports figure on an international level, bearer of good news, placing Mexico's name in a good light...gone.
And to do what? become a wealthy Senyora Ama de casa, raise a family (that she could have easiliy done a few years later), do some charity work (nothing wrong with that, of course)...but still.
Mexico is currently under a situation where ANYTHING positive coming out of it is certainly welcome.
Oh well, best of wishes to Lorena.

Never underestimate the impact she may yet have as Senyora Ama de casa or in her charity work.

Maybe she got tired of having to support her entire family.
