I believe this guy is one of the September 11 hijacker, or wanna be one! Hope this guy is on the non-fly list. If this guy is on my flight, THAT IS SCARY! I don't believe anything wrote on this web. I don't think any of these people are former police officers with MPPD in the first place.

I can't believe you people still read this boring shit! The people who set up this forum are hiring day labors to do their dirty works. They know day labors will not go to the authority to report them. No matter what you write, you won't hurt their feeling! These people just want you to read the forum.

MPPD is just set up to collect traffic fines. If I live there I would insist that they patrol the neighborhood and not W. Airport. Also I saw a MPPD give a ticket to a customer parked in the Fire Zone (in and out it 5 min) in the Walgreens store on W. Airport. A few days later I saw a lady MPPD parked in the same Fire Zone place and spent 15 min. shipping for snacks and soft drink.
I took a photo and a few days later I saw this SAME office do the same thing at the CVS Pharmacy on corner of W. Bellfort and Kirkwood. Have that photo also. If I ever get a ticket from MPPD I will take these photos with me and ask what makes the MPPD any beter than an commen citizen? THATS THE MPPD for you, get a badge and you are a allowed to do whatever you want - even break the rules!

Pickett. Thank God he gone. Bet he don't treat his OH students like he treat his cops. Always like to hare people he culd use. Brownlee own a water treatment company. Guess where a water treatmen sys is instal at a cut rate price? Simmons was car salesman. Pickcett use him to buy a truck. Two officers got lad off bcause they interview at other departmens, and Pickett want to hare eisler back as sargeant. All Stewart does is run extra jobs. Word is some officrs work extrea jobs while there on duty. Hop the new chieff clears it up.

I am curious Larry B, is it that you are trying to disguise your identity by writing as an partial illiterate? Or are you truly uneducated? As for the picture, I don’t think you are telling the truth! Do you know what the violator was cited for? Who was the officer? Did you report the officer? What positive “thing” did you do? As I read your post I see where you have decided to justify breaking the law because someone else did. Well, good luck!

I have lived in Meadows Place for a lot of years. Former officers, who are friends of mine, have told me about the explosive tirades exhibited by Mike Pickett, the now ex-police chief. During the time Pickett was an officer with the department, he seemed to be a pretty good cop. However, as he aged, and eventually became chief, something happened. Something snapped. It is a good thing that he is gone, but too bad that a couple of stooges still remain.

Says they have 15 officers now. I met Officer Desi Rodriguez once time. His accent was so thick! I never understand why Meadows Place exists? Just turn it into a part of Sugar Land so the fine police there can deter crime from where the source comes from. Not from Meadows Place so much but from Houston which borders Meadows Place.

I am no former cop, nor have I ever been arrested by them, but I do know this; this pd might be the ultimate, in insiders/good ol boys club/ we do our thing/nobody F's with me/ governmental agency, EVER , in the history of any agency in the United States. A total kiss ass, insiders club, where no one dare say anything against these peeps, or you will be gotten to.

I am currently a student and lived in the meadows since I was young and have seen the tyranny reigned by the mppd on many occasions. Yes it is a speed trap, all they do is post up on airport and Belfort like the meadows owns those roads. And is blacking out your cop car to catch speeders even legal?!? I digress, I will be moving back to the meadows though. Only so I can take Jessups job and kick his fat ass out of office. Only a prick would let shiesty shit like dirty police work go on for so long. And same goes for you McGrath. The mppd is a mob, I've seen them accept payments and drink on the job, hopefully these people do not work there. The people who run the city of meadows are a clique. They're all alcoholics and have known each other since childhood. How else would a bunch of drunk rednecks hold jobs in politics. Make meadows part of sugar land!!! Most of meadows salary budgets go to the police department! That's the tax payers money we need to nip that in the bud!

Don't move to Meadows Place if you value your First Amendment rights.
The Meadows Place Department is like the Gestapo! You can't make a false move here without someone calling the police on you. I have lived here 10 years, and I, and my children have been harassed by the police department. Even if you speak your mind to a neighbor, you better watch out they will ticket you for some type of offensive behavior. Teenagers even young children are not safe here. A bunch of cops pulled their guns on a group 10 year of boys that were having a sleepover and were outside just hanging out.
It's true the cops here have nothing better to do than walk around and harass the youth and residents.
Watch out! And don't forget to pick up your trashcan or you could get a ticket.
Meadows Place is NOT your place for life!

I also just received a citation from Rodriguez. Running a stop sign!!! Really??? I live outside the Meadows, but drive thru there regularly, and I know good and well to stop at every sign. I know I stopped there, but apparently did not "pause" long enough for her to consider it a "full and complete stop". Be sure when you break at those infamous stop signs, you pause a good two or three seconds before moving on. There's no arguing with her. Just sign and go on about your business. It's the PD's only source of income - scamming anyone at those four stop signs. DRIVER BEWARE!
