Tallulah is not the first city with issues and will not be the last one. I believe that recognition of your problems is one of the first steps to resolving those problems. With this thought in mind, I was hoping that you (the reader) would share your thoughts on the three things about Tallulah that bothers you the most. Things that you would want to see changed almost overnight.

For example, some of the things that bother me are (1) parish wide acceptance of an under performing education system; (2) chronic low expectations and acceptance of inadequate performances by elected officials; (3) a lack of turnover of real estate; (4) lack of economic development; and (5) a lack of recreational opportunities for Tallulah youths. I would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts on this topic.

1) i would like to see a better education system
2) city officials that'll will do their job and not be in office because of the income.(mayor)
3) i wanna see the crime and drug rate go down.(convictions that stick)
4) city clean up..... its horrible.

im from tallulah well at least i went to high school there. i love my city but its like watching a loved one die. because it's pitiful.u come into town and the 1 st thing u see are jails and old houses.... that aint good. im not an angel by any means. i used to sell drugs too but i decided to do right and get out of there. i still visit but the major needs his ass whooped and so do all the other city officials.

I grew up in Tallulah. It is the only city I know of that went backward. We had a mall, complete with
shops, stores, shoe shine stand and even a movie theater. There was a drive in theater and a
Host of businesses, restaurants and clubs. There was
The Chicago Mill, a railroad and two bus stations.
I don't know if you need a stop light there now.

Daily Horoscope for November 16

Sagittarius

Take time out to renew your spirit as today's New Moon stimulates the need to spend some time in self-healing. The darkest hour is often before the dawn, but some of the best dreams take place in the wee hours before you wake. Allow yourself to dream wild, brilliant, 'I don't think we are in Kansas any more' kinds of dreams.
