I was arrested for getting into a fight one night. The other guy was let go, even though I had been stabbed in the leg. I was denied medical treatment, and was held for THREE days on an assault fourth degree charge.(Class A misdemeanor-almost comparable to a traffic violation) I should have been out of there in a day and a half, maximum. I was even approved by the judge early the second day, but they "overlooked paperwork" for nearly two days. By the time I got out, and was able to go to the hospital, my leg had become quite infected, and it was too late for stitches.(Window for stitching a wound is approximately 6-8 hours)My father came to sign me out, and they kept him waiting for nearly 7 hours, while the guards were telling me, "No one is coming for you, boy, you may as well get comfortable". I was in a holding cell with 8 other guys, in a room that was probably meant for 4 or 5. There were three mats on the floor, and only two blankets. Everyone that didn't have a mat got to sit or lay on the concrete floor. I was denied any right to bathe for the duration of my stay, which as I mentioned before was three days. I didn't even have a way to wash the dried blood off of myself, except for using the water from the water fountain,(Which is attached to the toilet)with no wash cloth, towel, or soap.

Wow looks like you got f*cked right from the start why would they arrest you and not the other guy when you was the one that got cut? Did they tell you to shut up but you just didn't have the ability ?

I worked there for over a year.
1. The deputies do not watch porn but they are given food from the kitchen. It does not belong to the inmates, but to the county.
2. I actually took a lady to UK who went into labor on my shift and sat with her for over 48 hours.
3. I do know of deputies having sex with female inmates upon their release.
4. I have saw certain deputies strike inmates while in the "chair restraint"

They did tell me to shut up a couple times, but I didn't feel like I should before I had the complete story out. They kept putting words in my mouth, and they made it sound much worse than it was. I talked to several people today, and they said the cops have definitely gotten their facts wrong, because it is my house, and I have been restricted from the area.

Faye needs to be let go. Shes lazy, to lazy to get spoons because she forgot them, told the girls to eat without them. They let people lay an have cizures. I know I spelled it wrong, so the person that gets on here an corrects people, I already know. People have died in that jail. I guess thats when the Thomas boy is screwing Faye. I hearld they still do it. They watch the women pee an he gets off on it. That jail needs to be turned in. Ive not been in jail, but think people ought to get put in there so they can see how it is, then report it, get it on the news, or write Frankfort.

I had a miscarriage while I was in there. Faye did not bring the cart around for a day and I told her that I needed some pads or something. I did not get any medical treatment and had to lay in my own blood for two days until they brought the cart around again so I could get what I needed to take care of the bleeding. I ended up having to get a d&c when I got out and was very sick from the infection I got due to the miscarriage.

Can I play have your information?

I think it's interesting how everyone there is either related to Doug Thomas or Faye Winkler. Doesn't the County have administrative rules against nepotism? It's also interesting how Doug and Faye's family and friends get special treatment when they get arrested and they don't have to get locked up in a cell. They get to sit in the break room until someone can come bond them out. Fair? I don't think so!

I also heard their friends and family get work release and trustee positions before other inmates. Also, when the deputies discipline there friends and family members for getting in trouble they come back the next day and reverse the decision and undo whatever the deputy did. For example, they will take them out if isolation or put them back on being a trustee if that was there punishment.

Because, dude... If you were in there and you got caught smoking or were serving weekends and put in isolation and then a friend or family member of Faye or Doug's was also caught smoking or serving weekends and then all the sudden they were allowed work release or allowed to be trustee and you were not- you had to stay in isolation- that is not fair. Everyone should be treated equally in jail.

We don't go out and hunt up people to lock up you dumb shit. They are brought to us, Issues with paper work...See the arresting agency or Courts system. Yes, The cells are overcrowded, Attention criminals. Call the jail before committing any deviant acts to ensure you have an open bunk before getting arrested. We don't go in and mess up the cells. The "residents" do. We don't get inspections from the health inspector either. It's called the, Department of Corrections. How we treat people??? What do you want us to do? Back massages and foot rubs? Dumb ass... You come and work a week with me and let me ask you what you think then. People piss me off making your ill informed comments about how things go inside, Especially when you have no idea about what you are saying. Educate yourselves with the facts first before you start swearing about a ton of BS..

You all are correct. Jail ain't The Hampton Inn. BUT...inmates are entitled to a certain amount a fair and equal treatment by law. There stay does not have to be pleasant, but every inmate should be treated equal. It should not depend on who you are or who you is kin to or friends with to determine your privileges or which pod you get or if you get work release. What kind of message does it send to the inmates if they see that the "good oole boy" network is screwing them over on a daily basis? I would think that this is the one time you can't say that that's what they get for coming to jail. It's wrong to treat the inmates that way and its wrong to put the deputies in situations where there authority is questioned and over ruled and they have to explain to one inmate why they are getting crapped on when another inmate ain't.
Not to mention the cover ups. Depending on which deputy you are you can get away with anything while others have been moved to different shifts, treated horrible or fired. But if your be family you can beat on inmates and do whatever. Family can ask off for vacations but other people get denied. The place is full of corruption and it starts with the jailer and Faye.
