Alleged dealers rounded up
By Emily Burton
Register News Writer The Richmond Register Sun Oct 17, 2010, 12:00 PM EDT
RICHMOND A drug roundup operation begun in August, involving multiple law enforcement agencies continued Thursday and Friday with the arrest of 12 people.
Madison County Sheriffs Office Col. Rick Johnson said that the operation Thursday which involved not only the Sheriffs office, but also the Central Kentucky Area Drug Task Force and the Berea Police Department, was a continuation of a major drug roundup begun in August which resulted in the arrest of 47 people.
Thursdays and Fridays arrests, combined with the arrests made in August, should have a significant impart on the flow of illegal pills into the county, Johnson said.
Itll be a pretty big community impact as a whole. Its going to have a big impact on the flow of pills into this county, he said.
These pills typically come from Florida and Michigan, said Jason Parker, interim director of the task force.
Some of the major dealers of pills from Florida and Michigan have been wrapped up in this round, he said.
Thursdays arrests were just phase two of a massive investigation begun in Dec. 2009, he said.
The reason for the delay in arrests is two-fold, Johnson said.
Number one, when we arrest 50 people, it bogs down the court system and the jail, and we delayed to keep from overloading the jail, he said. Also, some of the ongoing investigations were not completed, and this gave us time to complete our investigations.
Parker said several dozen indictment were returned against some of those arrested Thursday and Friday.
The interagency cooperation not only helped clean drugs from Madison County, it also aided with the investigation and helped departments from wasting time, manpower and money, Johnson said.
In all, the agencies expected to arrest about 30 people in connection with this weeks roundup, Johnson said.
Those arrested as of 2 p.m. Friday are:
Ashley Rembert, 23, of Richmond, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/cocaine, a Class C felony.
Douglas Adams, 28, of Richmond, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/Oxycodone, a Class C felony, and second-degree persistent felony offender, a Class B felony.

I know Ashley Rembert aka Ashley Beagle. She is a crackhead hootchie with herpes and deserves to be locked up and have her kids taken away.

Guess that was not the bunch I "ratted" on.... Dumb ass people really think there is a rat list and of all People MY name is on it... My family would kill me if I even sneezed a name and I think(like my fam) the police should do their jobs and quit letting people be team mates when they should be inmates. Here is the plan, dont sell or buy drugs then you dont have to be worried if your a rat or a doper. The point would be mute

Doesn't work there:
Apparenly work there must be a person who uses drugs or that person wouldn't be trying to point fingers. Were you the informant that told on most of those people? Must have been

Your post doesn't even make sense. What the hell are you talking about? The original poster listed the people who got busted and asked if anyone knew them and I said I knew Ashley because I went to school with her. Lmao, what exactly were you trying to insinuate??
