Romantic places to be alone outdoors at night??

I am searching for somewhere my fiance and I can go to be alone outdoors. I thought it would be romantic to surprise her with a picnic under the stars and just be able to lay on a blanket and talk. Her birthday is coming up in a little over a month and I know she would love this (maybe even more than the kitchen mixer thing I am getting that she wants). Can you go into Lake Reba through the back enterance at night?

There really isn't any place to go that's in city limits. All the old good places have bright lights in them now.

It doesn't have to be in city limits, just some place where we won't end up in trouble for being there.

You could always wait until the drive-in theatre opens up for spring in Winchester. As far as Richmond, my friends and I used to go to Irvine-McDowell park on Lancaster at night, it is sometimes patrolled, but its a really nice spot to just enjoy a quiet night. We used to go swing and talk, it was pretty fun, or you could probably do a little picnic down in the shelter there.I think its the only 'unlocked' park. If it came down to it,you could go down to ft. Boonesboro, get a camping spot then walk down to the beach or out into the field, there aren't a lot of people there this time of year.
