So you were clearly one of the children who could not resist; you had to eat the marshmallow right away. Dr. Mischel? Of course you wouldn't know what I am talking about. I'll bet you could tell me about something you saw on TV though! That is too bad, because it would be in your best interest to learn why you were one of those kids; we are products of our environment.
Were you raised in dirty diapers while constantly sitting in front of a pentagon-controlled television? Did your parents not converse with you enough? Dad not around? Mom try to act like a big sister? Was there an abundant supply of soft drinks and processed foods in your home? Did your parents give you vaccinations thinking it was the law (a scam played on the low class population to obtain government money for schools as well as bank healthy profits for drug companies)? Because of deadbeat parents, did you spend too much time with other children your age who also came from dysfunctional families?
Because of your poor upbringing, I know that you have the desire to be angry as you read this post. Please try to fight that animal instinct. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Although highly unlikely, it is important for you to know that you can have a productive, fruitful, and happy life. You don't have to work like a dog, going from one dead end job to another for your entire life. There is life outside of riff raff, renting in junky neighborhoods, and pop culture. The ball is in your court. Good luck to you, whoever you are.

I would have to agree with both responses! Perplexed post was very well thought out and written. Should give you pause to consider your current status in life and maybe reevaluate your priorities.
However golfer also raises an interesting point , perhaps Kegel's might be in order!

Truth be known that if you post someone's name on the internet to belittle, degrade or spread rumors about them, they can ask the courts to subpoena the website administrators to find out who you are. They can then take you to court and try and sue you for libel. The word "try" is put there for a reason. You (the person who posted the "rumors" about them) would have to, in fact, prove that they have a little d*ck. With that said, can you imagine the atmosphere in that courtroom when the "proof" is laid out (literally)?

Actually that isn't exactly how it works. They CAN sue you. It was just yesterday that I made the point that this entire place is comical. Never in one place have I seen so much libel. Yet never have I seen such a large number of people who are too stupid to sue someone. It requires a bit of effort, knowledge and persistence. These are the qualities that low class people usually doesn't have.

However, one of these trailer people will eventually make the wrong person mad enough, and then it will be too bad to watch them lose everything they have simply because they are too poor to afford a lawyer and too stupid to represent themselves.

Even in the most ridiculous case, you will be out 10's of thousands of dollars fighting. Choose not to fight. Then the plaintiff wins whatever they ask for by default. They can take your house, your car, your crappy paycheck from your crappy job, furniture, anything. Think the plaintiff crossed the line and took something of yours that they shouldn't have? Well, then go HIRE a lawyer and make your case. The world isn't fair. It's best to not upset people with slander and libel. Make the wrong person mad and you lose, even if they don't win. There is a reason behind the saying, "you may beat the rap but you won't beat the ride."

I am not understanding how you can feel that way about my post. It is horrible that people mention specific people by name and libel them. Although tongue-in-cheek, my "advise" is always to discourage people from doing such horrible things, comment how ignorant such actions are, and always suggest that a person can always improve their own life, all the while offering a reminder of how easy it is to be sued and out a ton of money.

It is my hopes that people would stop doing those things, but when you discourage one, there are ten others to take their place. Such behavior on their part is symptomatic of deep-seated flaws. If they choose not to improve their own life that is their prerogative, but it not okay to libel someone else.

Too many people here have made public the soap operas of their lives instead taking the proper legal action. Many young people see these things and are sincerely not aware of how much trouble they can quickly find themselves in. We can't save the world, but perhaps my posts may occasionally make one young person from a dysfunctional family think twice before libeling someone, or perhaps it may help them to see how at least some other people outside of their narrow existence sees them. Am I more clear now?

That statement just shows the level of your education. You guys might be too young to remember when Carol Burnett sued the National Enquirer and won because they PRINTED things about her that weren't true. That is called libel people. If you aren't educated enough to understand that, then by all means, keep on posting people's names and see where it gets you. You want to back me up on this one Perplexed?

I'd be glad to. The poster's comments implies that he or she does not understand the difference between a criminal and civil complaint. You don't have to do anything illegal to be sued. I am going to make this very slow and very simple for those of you who could wait for more marshmallows.
As a ridiculous example, I can sue that poster right now and he would be labeled as a doe defendant. Some minor hoops on my end and I get a court order to hand over the IP address from Topix. The next step involves me getting another court order to hand over private information from your ISP. And while I am doing this I am writing a formal summons and complaint. I am also telling him about it giving him the freedom to come clean while I do the work to finger him. It is in his interest to come clean so as to save himself money later on when I get him. If he fails to cooperate with me and just come clean, then that is more I use against him during the entire process, more time consuming, and thus costs him more money.

...When I eventually find him (or his family, stupid friends, coffee shop, etc), whoever is the owner of the isp, then they are all involved in the suit. The suddenly want to cooperate fully in helping me to find the defendant. Now talking to him directly:

Most people do not understand the legal process. When you are finally served, lets say that I am asking for $35 Million dollars and my complaint is 150 pages long. This is easy to do. You have exactly 20 days (23 technically) to formally in a correct legal manner to answer every single line of that 150 page long complaint. If you don't do this, then I get what is called a default judgment. That means you owe me $35 million dollars because you did not answer formally and correctly answer my complaint. I now take whatever crappy property of yours I want to take. Yes, there are subjective rules that dictate what I can and can not take. If you don't like it that I have frozen your bank account, taken your paycheck, car, and every stick of furniture in your house, and you feel that I have down something outside of my legal rights, then you can hire an expensive lawyer to make your case.

When people are involved in a lawsuit they VERY QUICKLY learn what I have told you. Out of fear they run to a lawyer for help. The first thing a lawyer wants is a retainer fee. This may be as little as $1,000 or as much as $10,000. Then, he answers the complaint for you because you were too stupid to do it yourself (talked to many divorced people and they can explain to you how expensive lawyers can be).

This is where it really gets fun on my end because I understand the legal process and you probably don't. I start taking you for an expensive ride by filing endless motion after motion. Every single one of them obligates you to legally respond.

Then I make things confusing. I try negotiating and reasoning with your lawyer. We have great, friendly conversations and you are getting charge by the minute while I take your lawyer's time. At the same time, he is reassuring you that my case has no merit and probably will even cuss a little telling you what a jerk I am. He is manipulating you so that you will keep paying him money when your retainer fee quickly runs out and you are beginning to figure out that the process is just getting started.

Unless you are rich, you suddenly want to settle because you can't afford to keep paying your lawyer and you don't want me to take everything you have. It is at this point that I have you in checkmate. It isn't enough to take every penny you have (so that I won't take more; yes a paradox) but you are desperate and you, with your lawyers advise, start signing agreements to do all sorts of things beyond your imagination. At first you try to fight some of my demands because they are ridiculous. Quickly though you realize you are paying your lawyers thousands more to negotiate a contract so you just give in.

I don't win the suit and probably never could have. Welcome to the real world and grow up.

On a closing note I will admit what I find frustrating, and uncovers the very nature of trashy people; you can't reason with them. Here I am taking time out of my schedule because I don't want to see 2 things happen 1. someone get defamed 2. some person who is a product of a dysfunctional family financially ruin himself when he crosses the wrong person. I am offering a piece of help, yet the very people who need to hear my message may not be mature enough to listen.

If you are reading any hatred in my posts then you are misguided. Life is short. The country is falling apart and we don't know what the future holds. Please take care of each other.
