Why don't you go the web site and find out. There are so many plans and the subsidy you receive depends on your income. Btw, nothing is free unless you qualify for Medicade and the web site will let you know once you input the information. www.kynect.ky.gov

if you don't work looks like its just about free. but if you work as usual you are paying for everyone else.

Try this instead:

Be born poor in rural Kentucky in 1958. Go to public school, graduate in 1976. Have good grades (A and Bs) but college not an option: parents can't afford it. Take a job in a factory. Good job too. Good wages, benefits. Just one drawback: you can't retire until age 62. Work in that factory for 30 years. You can afford to send your kids to college. It's expensive but with loans, etc. you can give them the chance you never had. Then one fine day in 2008 the factor where you work closes up and the jobs go to China. Out of work at age 50. So, you take unemployment and the unemployment office tells you that you'll never get a job like the one you had with just high school education. So you go to college on the Dislocated Worker program. Get a degree in a technical field. Then... Nobody is hiring in that field because the jobs are being outsourced and done by remote control from India. So, now you're close to 55 and college educated - and with a student loan to pay for some of it because the Dislocated Worker program funding ran out before you were done. Nobody in the low end wants a college graduate, especially one 55 years old. One prospective employer actually told me, "I'd hire you, but you're college educated and I know that you'll quit me as soon as you find a higher paying job."

I totally agree that you deserve health care.... I disagree with the fact I should pay for it.

Why can't you get it through your head that if a national health care plan was done right you would not be paying for it. Why can't they just tax the 20 percent of filthy rich SOBs who own 87 percent of the wealth in America? Set the top rate, the rate paid by guys who make millions, hundreds of millions a year, at about 80 percent, like it was in the 1950s. The guys who move the jobs overseas, get the goods made by people in sweatshops as bad and dangerous as the Triange Shirtwaist factory was, for near starvation wages, and then import the goods and sell them in the USA at a huge markup and pocket the enormous profit, those guys aren't you. But everytime somebody says "tax the rich" people like you start howling.

You are wrong. The Affordable Care Act IS funded. The government shutdown does not affect it, since authorization for its funding was written into the law itself.

The big money billionaires backing the Tea Party don't care if Obamacare stays or goes. What they want is drastic spending cuts so that they can get an even bigger tax cut. The Koch brothers, who are the money behind the Tea Party and the Heritage Institute and other so-called "think tanks" that are really propaganda mills admit as much:

I have looked at the actual plan. Sure, it has a lot of bad flaws that need to be fixed. If not it is apt to be a monumental tangleup.

Please explain to me, in detail, how you will be paying for someone else's coverage.

You pay more for yours so they can pay less for their coverage.

I suppose you know that when Obama got this put on us, he also got the Senators and Congress and their Staff, exempted.

All I can say is if it is good enough for us, then it should be good enough for us all.

You know it is bullshit when they passed a law excluding themselves. All because they want good insurance for their families, but don't give a crap about us. You know..... Typical Democrat.
