I just saw a flier for Circus Pages on the door of a local business. It disgusts me that we are still allowing these sick SOB's in our state. All circuses that have animal abuse them. There is not one animal circus in the world that has not been sited for animal cruelty. In this video you will see clips of circus elephants being abused, dying of untreated contagious diseases (TB), going on rampages while small children are riding on their backs, fighting each other in a crowded parking lot, and even being gunned down in the street. These videos were filmed in the United States and you can see for your self that they were not filmed to long ago. If you're thinking of taking your kids to the circus you might want to watch this first.

This is sad and disturbing. You might want to make your kids leave the room when you watch this.

Just be sure to wear a face mask and gloves so you don't catch tuberculosis or herpes. And stand near the back in case the elephants decided to trample people to death like they did in the video. Kind of makes you feel glad to see it after watching the way they are treated. Elephants and big cats are wild animals that can only take abuse for so long before they snap or die. That's why you see them swaying and pacing back and forth. It's like the way abused children rock back and forth trying to comfort themselves.

I was standing in line at a store yesterday and overheard the person in front of me telling the clerk how utterly horrible the "circus pages" shows are. I would never support circuses for the very reasons the original poster mentioned. And make no mistake: it's not just the traveling circuses that are guilty of all sorts of abuses against animals! Ringling Brothers has been under fire in years past for inhumane treatment of its elephants. Take your kids to the zoo or aquarium instead!

In 2009 Ringling Bro.s were charged of causing the deaths of at least three calves. An 8-month-old elephant was destroyed after he fractured his hind legs falling off a pedestal during a training exercise. Another baby, who had been pulled from his mother, trained, and put on the road, drowned in a pond as he attempted to get away from a trainer chasing and prodding him with a bullhook. A 3-year-old elephant died when he became very sick shortly after he was put on the road and was shoved back into the ring for three shows. And just recently, a 1-year-old elephant who was pulled off the road after just one month of travel and performances is now fighting the stress-related and very deadly herpes virus.

It's this month so be sure to tell everyone how they abuse animals and don't get them treated for contagious diseases. Watch the video and you can tell from the pics that the two elephants that died of TB was sick, their trunks where almost white with spots all over and they were exposed to God only knows how many people in LA right before they died. I'm surprised people can afford to even go anymore since they have to charge an arm & a leg for everything so that they can pay their big lawyers to get them out of all the lawsuits against them.
