NO!!! No jail, she needs a cutomized van with bed so as to be able to properly make house calls and carry on with her business. Just watch her real close so as to not let her spit in the new van, swallow is a must in this case.

Doug doesn't have any choice in who is and isn't in jail. He only oversees whoever they bring in. That decision was Marc Robbins.

"On the advice of County Attorney Marc Robbins, Chase was not taken into custody, Lanham said, because the Madison County Detention Center is not equipped to deal with handicapped inmates."

Give Mr. Robbins a call and demand proper actions be taken when sex offenders.

Why should she be treated any differently? She is a pedophile, plain and simple. Does she live alone? Does she have any family? If so, surely they know what has been going on. Honestly, anybody that sits on the side lines and knows or highly suspects this type of behavior is happening, they are as guilty as the predator if they don't report it to a social worker, police or somebody that will look into the situation. It's a shame that adults in the school system can't be relied upon to be the moral person they should be.....and a Sunday school teacher????? God will deal with her....Absolutely she should be jailed!!!!!

Linda Chase is a perfect example of why our court systems do not work any more. If it was anyone else they would be in jail and why do we endanger our childen with these kinds of people. They are allowed to be free to continue these disgusting things to children, while they wait for a trial? Just wait and see, she will get off, playing the symphany card is always a good way to go. She may call herself a Christian, but maybe she should pick up her Bible and read it again. I think she might have missed a few passages.

If you do the crime then you serve then time! This is serious. If you can't trust the office staff at your child's school then who can you trust? There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Lynda used her position at the school to seek out young boys to have sexual relationships with. She is just as much of a predator, pervert, child molester as any other "man" that would do this to a child. If Lynda does not go to jail for this crime, it will send a message that it is okay for grown women and men to have sex with children....... Lynda you deserve to be in jail.

Am I the only one that remembers what was like to be 15? That's no child! It was a poor judgment call on her behalf, that is to say, if it even happened. Try to bear in mind. These are allegations. Meaning that she has not been found guilty of anything. I am a christian, and think a lot of you, who are so quick to condemn her without the benefit of due process, might want to open your own bibles up. Particularly the passage in which Jesus said "let he who is without sin, cast the first stone"

If you had been paying any kind of attention to this case you would have seen that at the very beginning of this huge mess, that Lynda Chase admitted to the police about what she had done...after being taken into custody she ended up pleading not guilty. So she already gave herself up, and she deserves to be in jail. I went to school there and Im not surprised a bit by what has happened. There were always rumors about her and the basketball players and other boys also...we are lucky that this was found out now so that hopefully something can be done about her. Oh and by the way before you get on here taking up for a pedophile, learn how to spell...H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E is the way it is spelled...and we aren't hypocrites, we are concerned citizens who want pedophiles off the streets and especially out of the schools!

This whole story is f-ucked up but how would you feel if you were handicapped since you were 7, during a wreck in which both your sister and dad were killed? No sex or love from anybody, and she might have been mistreated in school. The whole 18 years old thing is bull crap. When I was 14 I was getting ass and knew exactly what I was doing. That kid was bragging to all his friends, because let's just face it, the whole thing was hysterical. Getting dome from the school secretary? Priceless.

All of you should get a life!

She should have been put in jail from day 1. The parents of the victim should have never spoken up, and asked that the pedophile not be put in jail. She admitted to this crime in a taped confession, and all the nasty details.

People that do these types of things ARE NOT CHRISTIANS. I don't care how much they pretend to be, how many times they go to church, or even if they are a pastor at a church. God is not in their hearts.

God has His plan set in place for this pedophile, as well as the rest.
