So, the pure and simple answer to this is..... Kroger policy allows that bag boy, who are also the ones who push the carts in, wear shorts. Have any of you ever tried pushing in carts, especially when it is 100 degrees outside, on the beating hot asphalt. It is purely to keep employees safe and healthy. It has nothing to do with the younger generations having respect, nor with someone's obesssion to see or not see hairy legs.

Men work on the farm in overalls all the time. Those boys at Kroger are feminine guys IMHO. Girlie men. I blame the manager. This generation i too casual. Anything goes/so what/who cares....I am glad I grew up when young men had more respect. At home or the beach, it doesn't matter. But when you work, you should show us that YOU are a respectful person. This is a sinful generation. Listen to them talk. And the music they listen to. Repent and find Jesus before your life ends and yo burn in hell.
You are a have to be a idiot to believe this.

I work at a Kroger and I'm a bagger and temperatures reach 110 in the summertime. Would you like to be outside for 2 hours in pants?

The place is air conditioned. Those men should wear long pants. Nobody wants to see their hairy legs. Maybe that stuck up manager should deal with this problem. It looks bad on Kroger. It doesn't hurt men to wear long pants. Some of these punks want to show off their tatoos. Sick. Disgusting.
Are you kidding me. I'm a bagger at kroger and we have to push carts for an hour at a time in black dress pants and an apron in 100 degree weather so please go kill yourself.

Where do you draw the line? Other businesses don't allow this. Some of these guys aren't as handsome as they think they are. Nobody wants to see your hairy legs. This younger generation has NO respect. There is a time to be professional and a time to be casual. They could wear jeans. There is no excuse for this slounchy behavior. Shame on Krogers.
Most women now-a-days forget to put their cami under their blouse with a neckline almost to the waist, and you complain about a guy wearing decent shorts.

I'd much rather see a Kroger employee wearing uniform shorts, than a 300 lb woman wearing daisy dukes and no bra! Some of the customers that come in there are ten times worse than seeing an employee in work issued shorts! Shut up and get over it!

Khaki shorts look a hell of a lot more professional than jeans. The men and women there wear shorts because the Kroger dress code allows them to. Just like Lowes, Home Depot, etc. These Stores allow them to wear shorts because those working up front spend a lot of time outside in the parking lot, in lawn and garden, and on the move constantly. When the temperature is dangerously hot outside the needs of the employees come before the wants of some random bible beater that has all the hallmarks of a person who has never worked a day in their life.

It's a f*cking grocery store. Not your own private store. Get over yourselves.

Are you a Bible beater? Offended by tattoos (check spelling)? I shop at Kroger and I don't care what anyone working there wears. You're obviously enjoying the show or you wouldn't be looking that close. I've never even noticed tattoos, then again I don't care what people choose to put on their own bodies. It's not a problem other than to people who have nothing better to do than bitch.
one does not need to be a "bible beater" to be offended. Thanks for the ignorant bigoted remark by the way.
