Yeah is it open yet, and are they hiring?

I was at Hastings yesterday and there was a banner on the front of TJ Maxx that said "OPENING SOON" or "COMING SOON" I don't remember which one. They didn't have a "Now Hiring" sign anywhere. I did look inside and they have things on the walls for hanging clothes and shelving, so I would guess they aren't far from an opening date. Logan's is hiring though, and Culver's opened earlier this week.

I can't imagine just how bad your job is if TJ Maxx would be an upgrade.

No need to be snotty about it, some of us don't have a job at all right now and would like to find one!

Well, if you can't get on at TJ Maxx, I hear Berea is getting a new Walgreens; maybe you can apply there.

This was very mean and hurtful. Obviously you are ignorant to the what the world has become around you. Everyone from all socio-economical backgrounds are affected by this economy. WE are ALL suffering. You shouldn't be so quick to judge people who are on assistace. Often these people DO work and still don't make ends meet. My husband is the only one working in our house. I have been looking for jobs everywhere! We don't get food stamps, child care assistance, or Section 8 for that matter...We get nothing. We don't qualify for any assistance, but yet we still struggle.

Heard about a guy who will be starting there when they open, so maybe they already have done hiring? Maybe you should call Lexington TJ Max or try to find online, see if you can apply.
