Hi. I'm currently in the process of trying to find an apartment in Richmond. I have been staying with my sister for a few days here in Richmond while I look at apartments. I need everyone's opinions of these Rental properties that I have looked at so far.

Taylor Rentals
Hagar Rentals
Foxglove (specifically East Ridge)
What do you all think of them?

I want to live in a safe area that is very nice. The nicest place I have saw is East Ridge, but they are very expensive.

Thanks!:)

I curently live in the hager apt. And I'm bout to move ya wouldn't won't to move in them. Just sayin what I think. But it really up to you.

I live in Shawnee Trail... Kinda decent, but it kinda blows. I haven't had any trouble from neighbors or anything, so in that sense it's a nice place.

The apartment is extremely small though, so it's overpriced for what it is (though the rent itself is cheap, compared to other places).

But I've found some people who are looking for a roommate, so I'm moving to lex; nicer area, nicer place.

I live in property ran by W&R Rentals and they are really nice apartments. They are located in very nice areas and are well taken care of. I know they have 1 and 2 bedrooms so I'd check them out.
Good Luck

FoxGlove, however protect yourself with alot of pictures before you move in! Other then that, unlike the others atleast they screen their prosepective tenants. Be very careful where you live in Richmond. Alot of White Trash, pill poppers that will rob you blind when you are off working.

Try Katelyn Court. Balance between quality and price, next-to-no crimerate, no partying policy, and utilities included.

I rented from Hager a few years back...they are good about maintenance, but some of their places aren't in the best neighborhoods. After I'd been there a year, they gave me a month-to-month lease that I didn't like at all, so I moved.

I just moved out of eastridge apartments. They look good but aren't worth the price. They charge extra every month for electric whether you use it or not, the apartments are not properly sealed. Stay cold in the winter and hot in the summer in the bedrooms and near the windows. The walls are paper thin and on a hot day you can smell the dumpsters all over the complex. Stay away from anything foxglove, especially eastridge. Go with Taylor rentals. I lived there for a while. Much nicer place, nicer landlord and you get your money's worth!

Try Northridge. They are nice and the deposit is only 100 right now!! Plus they are getting a new swimming pool! Give them a call

I agree foxglove sucks. It use to be if your utilities were like 15 over the average you pay. Now it is a set fee. So in the spring and fall when you dont use as much they come out ahead. In the winter and summer when you use alot of heat/ac you pay extra. My AC has been out for the whole summer so far and is just now getting fixed. I am moving out as well
