I keep hearing about a creek that everyone goes to around here. People go late at night, hang out drink beer ride fourwheelers. Idk, it is supposed to be popular among eku students. Anyone have any idea what this creek is called or how to get there? Thanks.

Both places are private property and you should stay off them. They have been posted and you could be shot.

Waterways are public property. If you think you own a creek you are sadly mistaken.

Son you need to get your facts straight! Navigable waterways are public property in most cases but NOT always. Most creeks here if you are standing on the bottom of the creek YOU ARE on someone's property! If you are parked or standing on the bank of most streams rivers or lakes, you are on public property's and you are trespassing unless you have written permission to be there by the Landowner.

Also an example Wilgreen Lake was built by the Corp of Engineers as a public lake. And you can be at the the boat dock to put your boat in. If you get out of your boat and step on land you are on someone's property! You are trespassing! You must have written permission from the landowner to be on it. Why do I know this because I got a ticket for not having permission to fish on someone's land with out written permission from the landowner by the Game Warden. I also got to go to court for trespassing. All I'm saying is you need to know the facts.

Creeks may be public but mostly you have to park on private property and walk to get to the water. Now if you want to stay in public area, find a place to drive your 4 wheeler in that does not require crossing private property and stay in the creek. Watch out for the drop-offs, they are soakers. Oh by the way, take a garbage bag with you and take out what you bring in plus a little of what someone else didn't.

Sorry to pop your bubble but if your tires are touching the creek bottom you are trespassing. The law says navigable water. Meaning access by boat only. Call the Sherrif or game warden they will be glad to let you know. Also to be man about it tell them where you are going and say try to stop me from driving up the creek. Watch how far you get!

Here's some info for your dumb ass. There is no Wilgreen Lake.

William Green started that boat dock many years ago right where it is now, on Taylor Fork Lake. Yep, Taylor Fork is the name of the lake, and WillGreen is the boat dock.

I hope this helps before you make dumb statements again.

Google it.
