Why is Halloween only changed if it falls on a Sunday? How about moving Christmas Eve and Christmas? Thanksgiving? Memorial Day? I just do not see why Halloween can be moved.
I will say that I will give no candy out on the 30th. The 30th is not Halloween. The 31st is. Get over what ever issue it is that keeps moving this day around.

When in the hell are they going to stop letting the churches run city hall? What happened to separation of church and state? Halloween is the 31st not the 30th. I say all those who oppose the moving of Halloween should go to city hall and raise the roof. The "Christians" are afraid if they have it on the 31st they want have any kids in church to take down to the basement and abuse.

They have been changing the T.or T. night for years. What is the big deal? Kids really don't understand the difference and they have fun anyway. You ought to have some real problems to worry about.

October 30th is EKU's homecoming and this town will be full of people who will be drunk, all over the roads. I hate that kids will be trick or treating at the same time.

If you notice, most churches have things on Halloween - they pass out candy as well. It would HELP them to have it on a Sunday so I have no idea why it was changed.

ok, lets just bombard city hall. this is stupid to change trick or treat to the night that has always been the wildest night of the week. just ask any policeman, er worker or ambulance driver which is the busiest night of the week. so the dumbass cith of richmond officals put our kids right out in the middle of it all. oh well. have they ever made a good decision!

Sunday night is a school night. So it will make sense to have it on a Saturday. Some people are so hard headed and simple!

So now Halloween is political. Explain that to me, and please try to make sense if you can.
