Someone needs to do something with Fanny Rice, the lady that owns Spurlin Trailer Park. I've lived here for 10 years and thank god I'm getting out of here in 2 months. Last week I got fined $25 because my garbage can was sitting in the wrong place. It's been in the same place since we moved here... Then today I get a note telling me I need to go look in my yard for dog poop, and I don't even have a dog. I had more freedom living in an apartment than I do owning my own home and living here. I've been warned or fined for my porch hand rails not being right, leaving a tire beside my building, and my kids bikes being in the yard too. Next year they'll have a homeowners association in the fekkin trailer park.

It's a trailer park that's why, MOST are considered low lifes sooo u will get picked on, I lived in dixie plaza and couldn't wait to get out of there. I have a house now but u never know if u can keep anything anymore. People in trailers, some are good people but are labeled, I was. I never lived in one til I got married. Now I'm divorced and have a house again. I'm sorry this is happening to u but the owner doesn't see good people she just sees people who can't afford a house. It's like this everywhere. I hope u find a better way of life outside of a trailer park.

If she's worried about drug dealers I would support her in that aspect. I have 2 kids and I don't want those kind near me either, but she doesn't do background checks or pay any attention to the trailers that have a lot of traffic, she's more worried about weeds in someone's garden. She knows very well that my husband and I both work upstanding jobs and don't cause any trouble. Bystander - as far as drug dealers and low life's goes, We bought a trailer and moved here when we were 18. Now 28 We are getting out of here and getting a house, and I plan to let her know exactly how I think her ways of doing things are misguided because it is her that is running the good people out and leaving the drug dealers in as long as they move their trash cans...

Fannie, got it all by scewing old man Evan Spurlin! She didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out before that. Now her and all her kids the Stapps think they are somebody, but take it from me WHAT SCAM THEY HAVE PULLED.

I heard from someone who knows her daughter, Connie, that when Fannie kicks the bucket, she's planning on selling the place off. IDK if that means everyone will have to move or if someone is just gonna buy it. Even so, they'd prob change all the rules. Just warning you.

I've lived here for quite a while, and I've noticed she seems to make rules up as she goes. How can they fine you for things that aren't covered in the contract? Also wonder why all the notes are either a fine, or threat of a fine. Can't she just ask someone to do something? Do they always have to threaten with money first? Lol, can't help but notice the massive amt of these -> !!!!!!!!!! she uses either. EVERYTHING HAS TO BE YELLED ON PAPER!!!!!!!!!!

It's all about the money. Guess her jacked up lot rent isn't keeping her in up! NOT! That old buzzard has made an absolute killing off poor people! Now that Richmond has changed a bunch of ordinances on mobile homes, she has people trapped! A friend of mine wanted to purchase a small, older mobile home that is setting on a farm close by. The old home wasn't in bad shape, actually. It was about 70% remodeled. He wanted it to use as storage and for guests. The city would not let him move it! They said that the law changed, and you cannot move a home that is over 10 years old! What?!?! We can drive lawn mowers, tractors, and every peice of farm machinery imagined, but we can't' move mobile homes?? Another law that got pushed through without people knowing. If you own a MH that is over 10 years old, you are stuck with it where-ever it is sitting!! The man that was trying to sell the mobile home across from me burned it down. That was the only way he could get it off his land.

They are just waiting till she dies and then they are selling. They have already talked to a buyer who I will not name and there will be apt. bldgs. going in there. They are trying to get people to leave and trying to get her declared incompetent so they don't have to wait till she dies. That is why they are letting the druggies and hos stay and picking at the working people. They are hoping they will all get fed up and leave.

What happens to the people that live here after she dies if theyre puttin apartments here? Can they make them move? What if they cant afford the $3k it costs to move a trailer?

You will be given the legal amount of time to vacate the land, which I believe is 30 days. If you can not afford to move it then eventually they will I am sure pay to have it moved although you will be responsible for the bill and I am sure you know if they do it you will have added fees and what not on there.

From what my friend was told at city hall, mobile homes over 10 years old are not allowed to be hauled on Richmond roads/streets. The home has to be dismantled on site. Could you imagine what Spurlin, Dixie or any other MHP having to dismantle all the mobile homes that are over 10 years old would look like? It would be a disaster! I do know for a fact that the old mobile home across from me had to be dismantled and burned. The man that owned it hired a local handyman to remove the siding and wiring. The fire department burned the rest. It wasn't a bad looking mobile home, either. He had poured quite a bit of money into it. All that it needed was carpet and paint. He had completed the rest of the work. I wonder how this new ordinance will affect people trading in their older home for a new one? Will they not be allowed to trade up? That doesn't seem very fair to me.

If you have any friends in at least one of the trailer parks mentioned in this entire thread, you are just as bad. These places are evil...drugs, prostitution, child molesters...bad, evil people...

Oh, stooopid, your name says it all! The only child molesting, drug using, bad, evil prostitute is a certain person who posts under the name "stoopid".

http://kspsor.state.ky.us/

This is the sex offender registry. Not a single person on there lives in Spurlin. But I bet your picture is on there, isn't it? Or is it your spouses?

It's very obvious that your are jealous of the people there. Sorry you are stuck on Turpin drive, and the only home you will ever own is made of cardboard and says "fragile" on the side! Don't give up, though! I'm sure one of these days you'll get a raise in your KTAP, and might get to move up to Ballard! >^^<

Hey, stooopid, look down, your brain is showing...
