How long do they take to clean urine out? What are different ones and how do they work so I know what esle to look for? I apprecaite any info and ask for those who want to be a smart butt and rude not to comment please! Im trying to figure out what I can to help my child! Thanks and god bless!!!

Many years ago, a coworker of mine who was an avid weed smoker was worrying about being tested, and mentioned Golden Seal Root extract.

I have heard other users mention various products claiming to be able to clean things from their systems, swearing by them. Adversely, I've heard medical professionals state that most of the products claiming this ability are in fact bogus, and that a thorough and complete urinalysis, or better still a blood or hair test, are near impossible to beat without substituting dirty samples for clean ones smuggled in solely for that purpose - which is apparently quite common.

The fact is, if your child has acquired any such cleasing product, you need no further evidence or tests. They are clearly using something or planning to.

You should proceed with whatever discipline, denial of privileges, and other restrictions you can employ to immediately curtail this behavior and remove them from the using influences and providers of whatever substance they are themselves using or planning to use. Work to educate them on the many potential problems and complications drug use will introduce into their lives, should they continue down this path. Perhaps consider putting the child into a forced rehab program to achieve these ends, as well to expose them to the depths of woe this behavior can inflict on others.

Best of luck.

He is probably smoking pot . I ignored my daughter and her pot smoking and now she is on heroine. Your best bet is to get him a blood test and stop it before it gets worse. Please help your son and don't make the mistake I did.

This is not due to the pot, as it is non addicting.

Marijuana is not physically or chemically addictive. It is a non-narcotic, mild hallucinogen.

However, weaker-minded individuals CAN and DO become *psychologically* addicted to it all the time, or more precisely, to the head change, euphoria and artificial emotional satisfaction/distraction that it provides.

The problem is, the human body builds an almost immediate tolerance to the THC in marijuana when used regularly, making it difficult to achieve the same high without ingesting higher and higher amounts, or using more potent varieties, or upgrading to more effective delivery methods. Luckily for casual marijuana users, the potency of their street weed has been steadily increasing for years, which allows most users to keep up with their tolerances a little easier.

But people with coping issues and/or addictive tendencies, those who overuse and want more effect with less continuous effort - or whose increasingly difficult life issues cause them to require a more potent escape - these souls will often step-up to stronger and more dangerous drugs when their tolerance surpasses what weed they can afford to consume.

This process has earned marijuana the inaccurate label of "Gateway Drug." However, marijuana is not the issue that leads gluttonous, damaged or foolish people to use harder and harder drugs. That is a common cop-out, supported by users and loved ones looking to dodge the real issue: It's the underlying gluttony, the damage, and/or the foolishness they are using drugs to cope with that truly needs to be addressed.

I'm sober all the time. My experience with personal experience with pot was years and years ago, though I've bothered to keep up with it from time to time in casual reading and research. The strongest addiction I've ever had is to my morning cup of coffee. So please, don't be an idiot, if you can help it.

I suggest YOU re-read it my prior post. Of have a grown up read it to you, and explain the bigger words.

Then, do the tiniest bit of objective research to see that the information given was and is, in fact, quite accurate.

Or, you may choose to remain a moron without the slightest clue of what you're talking about, so that I might chuckle at your absurdity.

Whichever you think is best.
