I am all for the school letting out for the ga,e in support of our team. What I don't understand is why do we have to make up mother nature snow days even if it is two days and told the state mandates all days attended, but we can miss two or three days for state games and don't have to make them up. And thats not a gripe but just a question or thought.

I heard the sold over 1300 to students today. Don't the have 1800? That would be a bad attendance day for sure. This is a once in a lifetime chance for these students. School is about more than tests. It's about pride in your school.

From what I hear MC is winning everything athletic and academic. Sounds like success & sour grapes for those who are jealous.

And this post shows your level of ignorance. The state requires a certain number of days which your tax dollar does indeed pay. When you put those days in doesn't matter. If they are added on at the end so be it. You aren't losing anything in the way of tax dollar for this school day.

Really if the kids are happy let it go. I have seen parents take off work for less. An your childs education is not only the school systems job. An no all kids are not in sports but those who chose to be have to keep their grades up to play. So I hope they win an have a great time. An there are many daycares in Richmond a lot of them take drop ins if you are having trouble caring for your children while your at work.

i was at mchs in 99 when we went to state and it was a blast. I remember everyone having a blast. I see from your post it says your from BEREA and your probably just sour cause central beat you all so bad that national news is considering calling a 40 point a$$ whipping getting "MADISON SOUTHERNED".
