English, mofo, do you speak it?
Nope, generally I don't do ghetto gutter, unless in the presense of, as I prefer to leave that level of trash, for the trash.

(See: your sentence, specifically, the second word example of it)

You listen to a lot of audio books?

Which of the 38,000 different interpretations of the Bible would you use?

Assuming you're talking about teaching them christianity.

Then what about all the other thousands of gods and religions. If you happen to choose the wrong one, by forcing your kids to believe the same, you may be condemming them as well.

Its their soul. Let them make their own choice when they're old enough. Until then teach them the real stuff, the definite real stuff in life that will actually help them.
Teach them about reality and teach them HOW TO THINK, not to dream.

Is it your job to keep people from hell? You join the ranks of inquisitors and crusaders.

Just because we dont know an answer yet does not mean we are so stupid to fill the gaps with
'God did it'

If we'd done that we'd still be in the caves praying to keep the germs away.

How dare you people make good use of modern science, that people died for, and yet show it no respect.
If you really truly believe in your God then you should NEVER EVER EVER go to a doctor again.

The only thing I mentioned was concerning YaA's reference about the Catholic church/mass and the "Holy Ghost" in reference to a "still small voice",
You just did the same thing however , hating on others beliefs, and trying to justify it because others beliefs might )or might not) tie to "religion".
Personally, I think (people) just having a "conscience" does NOT constitute as being a "religion".
con·science
[kon-shuhns] Show IPA
noun
1.
the inner sense of what is right or wrong in one's conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action: to follow the dictates of conscience.
2.
the complex of ethical and moral principles that controls or inhibits the actions or thoughts of an individual.
3.
an inhibiting sense of what is prudent: I'd eat another piece of pie but my conscience would bother me.
Do I call names? No, so I do not act as you.
Did I make a claim that conscience is like religion? No, so I do not know what point you are trying to make.

The "crusades and inquisitions" was by What Religion???

See... You KEEP ON forgetting Christ's teachings!
I can see your confusion with your religious past,
Failed Mormonism, failed Catholosim, and failed Methodist!
Now... Try very hard NOT to be wrong with your assumptions!
BTW...
It was Alexander the Great, that did more for Christianity...
The Greek language spread the Gospel, as everyone spoke greek!
It was the Catholic church that put it in Latin, so the lay people could not read it...
Go figure!
More like so as not to alter the original works, in it's original form (as stated as SHOULD BE with in the book its self).

Ya maroon.

Just wondering, some people prefer the audio options of having things being read to them, rather than reading for themselves.

Question, with hypothetical scenario.

You're walking down a street and see two beggars. Beggar one is male, down on his luck, with a family to take care of. That beggar will take what ever kindness passers by spare to him, gratefully, with only the promise to do what is right with what is given.

Beggar two is a known harlot per say, and offers you continued wicked pleasures for what ever passers bys spare, and just takes and takes and takes, continually squandering and indulging only herself, with out a care for others around her.

Who you going to charitably, in "good faith", "donate" to?

(Be advised-your answer will speak volumes of your character)

You accuse(d).

And also personally, I do not think people have to belong to any specific "religion" to harbor hatred--quite the oppostie actually, that to knows no specific "realm" and can be harbored by ANYone, ANYwhere, with or withOUT religion, regardless.

And to lump and labelduhm as being due to "religion" is as ignorant, as NOT realizing, it is ignorance itself.

<quoted text>Again you trust they spoke for a god. You are blindly trusting the ancient men who you really do not even know. You trust words in a book that were compiled by a group of men in the fourth century put together by a king.
BTW, you are making claims about me that I never made, again. You have a bad habit of doing that.
But I understand why you have such false perceptions.
You don't require animal sacrifices? Funny, the bible demands people to have them. But of course they are silly and are just part of a brainwashing process, as all religious rituals are.
I understand this, you do not.
Have you tried to humble yourself before Zeus? How about Thor?
How about a humbling guitar?

So, point is ( YaA, pay attention!) there's a big difference between people just having a "conscience" versus having a "religion" per say.

Non? Oui?

Eh? How would you like (any) elaboration? Adjectively? Adverbly? Abjectly? Misunderestimatedly? Tersely? Naw, terse is for the uptight.
