You say in this post that I don't like the word believe, though I've fully admitted my faith, which is basically belief. But have you noticed the atheist response to the word believe??If the words "believe that" is offensive to you, due to the faith connotations, simply think of it as the "i hold the opinion that" (as that was the definite of "believe" that I intended to use). Do recognize that 4 is just as illogical as 1, at least for the question of "God", as written. If we extend that all things in the Bible must be true in order for that God to exist, then you are absolutely correct that we have evidence to disprove the existence. But that's not quite what I asked. Sorry for the confusion, but I was simply asking about "A God", not specific KJV God.
do whut wrote, "<quoted text>
Yes, so your body morphed from dying stars and hot air?"
Not air, gas. But yes, stupid. Read a book. I don't know how you can exist in this world and not be aware of those things.
None of us witnessed these events in this current state of mind, so evidence or not, we still have to make a guess at some of the key points of the beginning of everything. Evidence takes you to a certain point but then theories have to be developed, and there are several theories. No one really knows for sure.
What word would you prefer I use in this case other than believe?
