Growing up I had a Bible class in my school..... I learned verses and recited them and it earned me a week at summer camp..... paid for by churches. Therefore.... I feel there should definitely be separation of church and state. The state should not require any child to participate in any religious activity, be it a Bible study or a prayer or whatever the observance may be. With that being said.... the state also should not prohibit the personal observance of ones religion. Otherwise, church and state are no longer separated, but instead governed. The fundamental principles of christianity and democracy are free will and the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness have been obstructed. How each person defines happiness is up to who? That person. It doesn't matter if you're 8 or 80. I had a Bible teacher when I was in school,,,,,,, but my mom took me to church at least twice a week.... much more often than I heard the Bible in school...... A Bible school teacher,,, or a Pastor won't save your child's soul,,,, you won't either.

Education,,,, is needed in this room. If you want your child to learn about God,,, get up and take them to see a specialist this morning.

I agree, I would prefer someone with a "Masters" degree teach it... rather than a sub.... No offense, and none taken.

Luke: Chapter 8. vs. 10: And he said, "Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand."

They have never stopped evolving... even human have Never stopped evolving... Just a few hundred years ago the Average human was several inches shorter than the Average human today... Our genetic makeup has been altered by our own technological advancements and ability to mix with previously separated populations.. But we as a species have lived in a fairly stable eco system for 1000's of years so change is very slow because environmental pressures do not force faster adaptations.. But placed in a Drastically different environment that rate of change speeds up Dramatically.. For example when humans are placed in space under zero G our bodies drop calcium very fast and muscle mass deteriorates.. Not that's not a problem except that you have to come back to earth and such adaptation could kill you if allowed to continue.. but place a small group of humans in space for several generations and the offspring might not even be recognizable as Human Being...

You take things out of context just like the Pharisees and wrongly apply them.

The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus.

Jesus was talking a great deal about money, and how to use it.... Those things which men highly esteem, Jesus said, are an abomination to God (Luke 16:15).
