T Bombs was forced out of their location (maybe business) by Senator Worley's bid for 1st street. Don't take my word for it; read the paper and access courthouse property records.

Yeah, Worley is a fat tub of lard that wants to see law offices and white collar businesses in that area. I understand his point, but he's also taking a lot of the culture out of what used to be a great "downtown" bar scene for 21 and up. I can't see how the college is not up in arms about this, since most students look for campuses with an option of a decent night life.

Worley and others have the mentality that Richmond is still in the 70's where only rednecks and criminals come to those bars.

I'm sure Worley is getting his alcohol, but just behind closed doors. Somehow, it doesn't seem right, but not enough people vote against him.

If you were fat, ugly and couldn't get laid in a whore house with a $100 bill taped to your ass, you may have a vengeful bone in you too.

As for T-Bomb's, it's not been the same since Dave passed, and with them being the "last man standing" on first street, they are taking all the heat.

EKU is not up in arms about it because his colleague, Rep. Harry Moberly, is the vice president.

Yeah, sorry for the confusion. Moberly is the tub of lard, and the fact that he's the VP is my point exactly. No support from EKU since they have the same people calling the shots that want the bars gone. However, I don't think the board completely agrees.

Have you been to any board meetings. I have, and not everyone feels the same. However, they are moving forward with changing the face of downtown.

T Bombs is gone for good. It had nothing to do with Moberly. When Dave passed he left no will so it reverted to his wife Vivian. Vivian can not get a liqour license due to a DUI. So T-Bombs is gone. Moberly will buy the building as he has a right to do. Hopefully Rachael and her sister (?) will be able to receive the proceeds from the sale. I believe Vivian is more than a little crooked and has probably fled back to Brazil!

If you love standing on Main Street to smoke, getting fake Jager for a dollar, and never hearing live music or a decent "comedian", then Jerzees is the place for you. One night a week it is hopping and the rest it is dead. I don't know how that can compare with the T Bomb's

T Bomb's will never be the same without Dave. That is a fact. It will go on though. It has been a staple of the Richmond bar scene for thirty plus years. Still has Whiskey Wednesday, you can still get a pitcher of your favorite booz on Thursday, and there is live music Wednesday thru the weekend.

Is Jerzees gonna have a patio built over Main Street so they can compete with wet t'shirt contests too? Summer is just around the corner and everyone knows where the party is then.

Let's let the good times roll down at T Bomb's.

The day Kentucky stops allowing Government officials to rent land to the State of Kentucky, will be the day we move this state forward. Oh, he's retiring as well... nice, comphy check 4 life.
