I go there and haven't had any problems. Mike seems nice enough. Granted they are not going to give out the strongest of pills, and I think all Dr's are being overly careful right now about giving ANY pain meds that's why we have to go else where. My regular Dr would be afraid to give you a Tylenol 3!

At least he's on the up and up, before I was referred to Buddy! OMG... You felt dirty just being there. By the way, anybody know what happened to him?

It's not about giving out pills. It's about pain and HUMAN suffering!

what are you talking about "all of the above is true"?

And to the other poster, I know it's about the pain and the patient. That would be ME.

I'm just wondering 'what's the problem with Malik'?

I go there and haven't seen a single thing that would make me thing there's something going on out of the ordinary....???

I had NO problem with Mike or anybody else....

BUT if there 'is' something going on, I want to know about it!

Can anyone tell me what dr Malik does on your first visit? No I'm not a druggie and I've never been to a pain clinic of any kind before but I'm tired of hurting all the time and have an appointment and would like to know what they do on a first visit and if their going to give me anything that will help me with my pain, I'm tired of suffering.

Not much on your first visit or your monthly visit thereafter. I would avoid the place if at all possible. You are required to have a MONTHLY appointment whether you need it or not and other clinics do appointments every three months. They get more $$$$$ that way and if injections don't help you they continue to try and force you to get them. Again, it's more $$$$$. You will save $$$$$ and find more professional treatment elsewhere!

I DID NOT like this Dr. AT ALL!!! He has no bedside manner and does believe if you are young you can't have pain. I went there when I was 28...I have 3 bulging discs in my neck and back, Fibromyalgia and recently found out I have osteoarthritis. They do drug test you (which is fine with me), only my drug test showed Marijuana in my system. I've never in my entire life smoked pot!!! Needless to say I had taken Ibuprofen the day before.... I worried for days about that. I guess they sent the test off and it was wrong. They didn't care that that could have coated me my job or anything. He was a terrible Dr. I had injections once and they helped for maybe a couple weeks and he said since they didn't help for longer then he wouldn't do them anymore. He is a QUACK!!!! I'm NOT a drug addict! I am a person that lives in pain on a daily basis. Sorry if my pain isn't something that is visible to people, but it is true pain. Some people need to realize not everyone is a drug addict!

This is so funny, y'all are are a bunch of pill heads and if you say your not you just don't realize you have a problem yet! The only way a person would need what these docs give is if they have cancer or severed limb lol

Listen, For those of you who think that the only reason a person goes to a pain clinic is because they are drug addicts..You are so VERY wrong, Yes, I do agree SOME people abuse the the medications and try to lie to get the meds. But, for a person in true pain, like myself, try to no take the pain medication if at all possible. There is a very distinct difference in being an addict and being dependent upon pain medication. I have NEVER abused my medications, I do not trry to get a "buzz" on my meds. I take them to live a somewhat normal day to day life. I have diabetic neuropathy, degenerative arthritis, degenerative disc disease throughout my entire spine, along with fibromyalgia and that's just scratching the surface of my diagnoses I'm fairly young, in my late 30's and I wish with all I had in me that I did NOT have to live on the medications to survive. I hope no one ever has to live in the pain I do.
