Nothing. I was born here and I can say that without any doubt. It is a dead, redneck place to live.

I have to agree completely and I was born here too.

Yes, people will start ranting well you can leave. I'm an only child, my parents are here, and I'm stuck in my current employment until I retire.

Richmond has been a good place for me.
I have NO Complaints.
Work hard and stay out of trouble does wonders.
Also, don't rely on others to pay for YOUR short commings and rely on Welfare.

Small city, college town, but nice.
Schools are decent, no complaints except I think Madison Central has to many students.
We do have nice parks.
I did not grow up here, but I have enjoyed living here. I wish there were more to do but Lexington is really close so that helps.

To me, richmond is not a great place to live. too many liquor store where the drunks go and buy a beer, wiskey and get on the road and kill someone else. break up the marriage. it is not so wonderful at all. too many traffice. over popluate town, county. heck, i am outta here before summer. gonna go where the populate is low and theri is no liquor store. alot of good ole redneck is their where i am gonna go . also think about the nerve gas at the army depot. when they get it built and start destory the bomb. the air will spread across madison county and you all will be dead. any one that live near the army depot has a short live. well. belive it or not. it is the truth. so it is not a great place to live.

Yeah, AOL-er. If there were fewer liquor stores, fewer people would get drunk.

Now, if you'd just give me your credit card number?

Honey, you need to go straight to school and learn how to spell and puncuate. That ought to be your first stop, never mind about what town or county you live in.

The druggies, which make up about 80 percent of the population would say easy access to dope as their reason.

The winos would say the liquor stores on every corner.

The thinking people would simply say, we want to move but cannot afford too. We realise Richmond is nothing but a drain where society's misfits and losers circle before washing through.

Guess you won't find liquor stores in Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, Minneapolis or Orlando.
Certainly NO "druggies: in LA, Boston, Detroit or Miami.
Never heard of a "crook" in New York City, Baltimore, Atlanta or DC (Capital Hill, maybe?), etc., etc.(Then most of you complaining about Richmond probably have not ventured beyond Winchester or Irvine).

Probably NO city in the US is as degenerate, crooked, drunk, and stoned as Richmond...yeah right! Those of you who think Richmond is that bad, please get a life or just find a rock and crawl under.

I just got on this sight for the first time and I find it quite hilarious. I have to agree with Zig Zag; your English is horrible! Where did you go to THE high school and THE college?
