hope your very proud of yourself. that laptop has all of my college homework along with every baby picture of my daughter. it is also affects my job so hope your meth addiction is so worth ruining someones entire life. I have never in my life stolen anything from anyone. i was there to see my family and you decided to take the opportunity to steal a laptop out of the back of my car.

and to all you all little nosey crack heads who stand out and about i know one of you all seen which pathetic lowlife thief it was your just as sorry covering for them.

If anyone is an honest person down on ballard has any information on which addict took the laptop last Week out of the blue mistibishi please either let me know on here or let Roy know.

Anyone who returns it I will pay 60$ no questions asked AS LONG AS IT HAS NOT BEEN WIPED. As i said it has all my daughters baby pictures and those mean more to me and Joey than anything else.

Oh yea and thanks also crackhead for stealing the papers inside my laptop too that was my homework. I'll be lucky not to fail this semester unless i get it back.

first off, back up your pc and you'll have your pics

second off, if you leave a laptop in your car, um, maybe lock the doors. or put it in the trunk

third, you calling people crack heads sure ain't helping you get back what you want

fourth, if youre offering a reward for thge return, you need to go above the value of it being pawned. so, 60 won't cut it. try more like 200 to make it worth the person to consider giving it back if those so called pic are worth that.

lastly, you venting on topic sure helped.... try a please report dumbass!

Don't know about atf but I do know they are looking into several adults that are selling weed to Natasha. Most people know that if you get or let a child get high you will be charged that why im trying to let them know so they wont have to deal with the drama.

police report was filed already.
i was inside my familys house for five mins and had only left the driver side door open so whoever it was had to of walked past my car between cars and open the door and reach around into the backseat floor board.

and i will call them crack heads when i know that is what all those thieves go after.
im a mom in college i dont have no 200 to pay some meth head just to get it back. if it were the case i would buy a new one but i dont have money like that and any crackhead would usually gladly get 60 bucks for a laptop for free instead of watching over their backs.
hell the top of my Toshiba is popped out cuz my daughter. whoever the dumb dope fiend was didnt even think to get the cords.
Seriously if there is anyone who knows who has it just let it get back down the grapevine to the combs so I can get my laptop back.

What I find so hilarious about it is that she is calling everyone on Ballard crack heads (which is true) but she mentioned her parents live there lmao. So that right there tells you that you come from crack heads and you should have known better honestly! Seriously if they had to go through that process you said that they would have to go through to get it out then you lied about being in your parents house as little of time you were there because if I go to my parents which they do not live no where near Ballard I stand at the door not sit my big ass down and I then could have seen some retard with no job walk past my car between cars and open the door and reach around into the backseat floor board and then known for myself who took my laptop then to have to get on topix and start complaining about being a retard who did not lock their doors while going to that side of town! Seriously how stupid are you?

Not my parents my daughters fathers parents. Their my family and i literally was in there five mins cuz i was picking up my sister in law to take her to work. Yeah my stupidity but it dont take more than a min to look as your passing a car to see that the laptop was in the back but because i figured some of the people i know there were all outside it be fine long enough to walk in and tell her i was there to get her. My bad obviously.
You must be one of those low lives tho for defending a thief.

Reread your post. I find it hard to believe that you were accepted by ANY college. Maybe this is a wake up call?

Stealing is wrong.

But the world is full of wrongness, thievery & assorted other crap.

So rather than rage at being victimized, you should do your best to learn from this & move on. Many people lose devices with sensitive or sentimental data, never to see them again. It sucks, but it happens. No amount of name-slinging or appealing to their non-existant decency will help - if they were even slightly decent, they wouldn't be robbing people.

But, you've learned some things, I hope:

- Secure your vehicle & its contents, all the time, everytime.

- Do not leave valuables in plain sight even when locked in a vehicle or home, lest a thief be tempted to break in.

- For photos and sensitive data: Invest in a cheap external hard drive or sign up for free online storage from Microsoft Skydrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and/or Apple iCloud, and frequently backup sensitive documents, pictures, schoolwork, etc. That way, if victimized again, you can retrieve your data when your insurance pays for you a brand new computer (you DO have insurance, I hope). A backup is also handy in case of equipment damage or failure.

- Always record the proof of purchase, serial numbers, product IDs, & all other info on all high-dollar purchases & keep that info in a safe place. Having that info can help police identify your device if it has been pawned & allow you to get it back. It may also identify the crook via the pawn ticket.

It's sad that it often takes being the victim of a crime to become properly wary of criminals. Welcome to the club.

I write on my cell phone. Not a perfect science using t9. Anyway, of course I've learned my lesson, but no I had a lapse in judging that in less than five minutes my laptop would be gone. I had just left campus where obviously used my laptop at. I rarely brought my laptop with me, usually never needed it. Typical on ballard, it never had mattered locking or not as I literally had nothing to steal. No stereo, no nothing worth stealing. Heck, my car is held by bundge cords. Now as far as me talking crap about the thieves over there get over it, I am venting for one, for two I would hope as I know some people over there may read this that there might be one of them who has a heart to tell who took it or where it got took to at least.

I mean Im not even from Richmond nor live in Richmond. I drive a hour every day to and from Richmond for college. Its not like I had anywhere else I could of hidden my laptop, hello as I stated held by cords, that includes the trunk, would not have been safe either way, as if I had gotten out and put my laptop physically in my trunk that would have been more hey steal me than being slumped in the floor in an angle which hopefully since Im parked between cars no one is going to walk by and notice it. MY BAD I was wrong. Steal does not mean that it is okay they did it.
