Yes, when it comes time for lay-offs, the deadwood stays and the producing people are put on the street!

Took me three times to post the proof that the Obama's are spending us into oblivion with their vacations,- the girls now in the Bahamas with an entourage of friends and whatever it cost us. Yet the White House is closed due to funding and maybe there'll be no Easter egg hunt for our kids this year.
Scum from Chicago, they're all like that in his enclave! And not a peep from the libturds on here.

Good post HDT. A conservative agrees with you.

I'm not a democrat, but have to say that was on target. See....we can agree on some things.

There was a time unions were for and about the people. We use to be strong union: Civil Service. Now it's all about the big-wigs, taking money from the working class and living high on the hog, politics, politics - mansions and Mercedes. It's gone astray in many cases.

Social programs are going to be needed as long as Congress passes laws that line their own pockets instead of making new jobs and building a stronger economy. Theres no way around that.

Keeping people dependent on the government isn't the Christan thing to do either! It takes away their humanity, their self respect and makes them no better than livestock, who are bought and payed for.

We need a progressive tax system more like the one of the 1950's and 1960's were the wealthy were taxed at 80 to 905 on there top income. The middle class was living strong and America was strong. Why would anyone need to be super rich anyway! I love how some wealthy greedy people are so ate up with thereself and power that makes me sick!My heart goes out to the hard working laborers of America. They are the ones that actially done something usefull. The are the ones that pay the taxes to boot!

There is only one way to achieve a strong economy, this would be to place a tax on incoming good, making it cheaper to be manufactured here.

OZ the Mexican people are pretty much all Catholic. They are always wearing gold crosses on their necks, and believe me, the town I am from has plenty of them living in the North. The people I knew were very family oriented, and I can see why they would vote this way. They support Obama because he promises aid, welfare and education for their children,(and now perhaps amnesty) and they do not make a lot of money so they qualify. That does not even imply they like the rest of his agenda, however.

There is a black pastor who is a leader among his churches, and opposes anything but marriage between a man and a woman. He has most of the pastor's agreeing and they do have meetings. He has posted petitions on a web site. I signed his petition and now he sends me news letters. I don't happen to have one now or I would post it.

Not all of them support everything Obama is. Unlike this board of cheer leaders.

Fighting wars in combat dont pay well but it is highly respectfull. Was Jeses wealthy? I just do not have the desire to be wealthy? You define success as money! I do not! If I did have money I probably could not sleep well if some one needed something just to live another day. Sorry you mistake me as an under achiever and possibly yourself as successful. I just dont believe money proofs success.

Obama waits for the right "crisis" to happen so he can put his agenda in the middle of it and his supporters spread the fear for him. It's sickening and sad what Americans have become. People on the forum warned us years ago that Obama would attempt to take our gun rights away when he found a crisis he just couldn't pass up. And he did just that but it isn't going exactly as he had hoped. Those same people told us that would be a fight that Obama would lose and he would go to plan B. They said he would instead render our guns useless. Average Joe can't find ammunition anywhere but the government is buying up billions of ammo and stockpiling them. They told us that Obama and the democrats would pass a law that everyone who owned a gun would have to have insurance on those guns. Wonder how many elderly citizens and single mothers will have to give up the guns they use for protection because they can't afford the insurance on their gun? Right behind the insurance will be the annual mandatory government classes that will cost you a pretty penny and then some. All you liberal jerk off's could do was laugh and claim it would never happen. And here we are.

Obama tried using his fear mongering organizing skills concerning the sequester so people would vote for democrats in the midterms. That hasn't worked so well for him either. He told us how firemen would have to let homes burn and airports would close and school children would suffer and blah, blah, blah. He closed the White House tours to make a point. Obama will use anybody or anything to make his point no matter how much it hurts the people. Surprisingly Michelle Obama and her two daughters are on another expensive, lavish spring break vacation in the Bahamas. No sequestration cutbacks there.

You people who voted for Obama and the democrat crooks in office now should hang your heads in shame when trying to explain your stupidity to your children.

I whole heartedly agree with you, but he was talking more about his religious beliefs this time.

When people depend on government, I believe it takes away their pride and self esteem. I'm speaking mostly of those who have sincerely beat the bushes looking for a job and can't get hired. Is it not in our nature to take pride in what we worked for and earned through hard times and work efforts?
Those who choose to live off the government because they feel somebody owes them something for their hard luck, are the ones who will never have a damn thing in this world but what they can buy off meager income. How can you take pride in something that causes you to live below poverty, when those who keep you there live lives of luxury, drive expensive cars and take elaborate vacations?

Somewhere there is resentment and anger. I have seen both kinds as I'm sure you have also. I would rather work and be independent. IMO, I don't need government to baby sit me or mine.

Good post Jay ...thank you!
More people depends on government, you make
weak, poor & lazy nation. This cheer leaders, what ever government help they get, they have NO freedom. To much red tape, you have to justify everything. What ever you have, what ever you owe, you have to report. INDEPENDENCE is J~O~B!
In Europe, young people live with they parents, no jobs. Staying in coffee shops all day, going home to eat, sleep and midnight out...you don't want that...THAT IS SOCIALISM! That, what America is going to be if people don't wake up on time!
That is what Obama wants. Depending on government... getting help, for this people is more than enough. This is future Democrats ... an immigration office can't chose anymore, smartest and brightest ... our government is encouraging illegals. Brake the law and America is going to reward you...sad but true!
