From what I hear, they probably just quit hiring like they have been lately and the lazy ones who don't want to come to work and who were the last to be hired are just being weeded out. They're probably at their quota for now and when the economy kicks back in, they'll probably bring some of these kids back. Most of them were young and had good jobs, just didn't want to show up; can't understand that. Some ACTUALLY needed jobs. Kinda' feel sorry for them.

Enersys is a joke even if you have been there forever. They fire and rehire people all the time and if someone they know wants to bump you from your position your screwed. I know have done it myself. Sorry either suck it or get out.

they laid off all the new people you morons... lol. and fired alot of oldskool workers due to fines. people who actually work here know. some of these guys worked harder then me and im here everyday of the year. something about their fines screwed their sales, but from what i hear most of them layoffs will be called back after its straightened out. [the good ones anyway]. Yes it is a shame a few of those kids got 10+ occurance's from the 3-4 months they was here. those ones will most likely not be called back.

It's time to come out of the igloo, dude and get some sun! WTF kind of "fines" are you talkin''bout. It's good I guess that you're there every day of the year?(really doubt that). And "these guys worked harder than me?" I think I know who you are and if the layoff didn't get you, I'm sure your supervisor or your lazy azz will somehow catch up to you. It's "eskimos" like you who keep people who really need a job from keeping their's just because you've got a better clock #. You're probably a stupid union f#*k also who just wants a free ride. Maybe that's where your term "fines" comes from. Happy unemployment line when you're caught not doing your job again.

Hey DUCKS... He is talking about the EPA fines because they found lead dust on top of Pattie A Clay hospital and on the EU football field and also found it as far as Madison Manor. They got fined 12 million dollars and the EPA is still on there ass because they can't keep the lead inside, still blowing out 18 pound when they are only allowed 4 pound. They dropped production about 700 cells to try to lower production so the number of lead poundage going out the ventilation would come down. They did fire a bunch and layed off all the temps so Brumbaugh and Bauer could get the heat off their back. That place is a shit hole place to work and they hire out of county now because no one in Richmond or Berea will work there. I was there for 15 months and seen people with 300 higher clock numbers coming in through the door which meant in 15 months they went through 300 people. STAY AWAY, WON'T BE THERE MUCH LONGER!!!!!

And broken up a lot of families. That place is a joke and the way it treats it's employers is complete shit. Any one that says different is a dumb shit that can't do any better. The people that are still there is a bunch of old shits who are to old to go any where else and thats all they know. You go in there and they all walk around limping and broken down, hell half of them are on FMLA and come and go as they please with that so ya why would you leave.

What is wrong with the food stamp program BIGTOWN? It's a program to help families in need. I always thought of people on food stamps where sorry when I was growing up because my dad always down graded people like that but as I am older and work now and see and have seen people in need of them I realize it's a good program when people use it that really need it. BIGTOWN, you are a @ssbag that needs to quit living in the 80's and there might come a time BIGSHOT that you might need some help or have to feed your kids in hard times. Oh ya, the EPA is doing it's job with Enersys. You can't let the lead dust float everywhere and expect not to get fined for it.
