Better get your medical field working self in the bed, so you can Wake up extra early in the morning, and get princesses curls looking pretty and get her pink lace tutu snow suit on and get her to school safely, after this snow storm we have had tonight, and make sure you get yourself to work on time sweetie. we dont want you to be late worrying about your family safety.
Really? how can you sit and possibly judge someone you dont know? and you really are going to sit there and judge me cause i worry about my families safety? ok, douchebag, you are whats wrong with this world. i cant run a little late for work because we were under a tornardo warning. i was worried about my daughters safety and you are really gonna try to judge me for that? i could be one of these dead parents who dont care nothing about my child, but i never thought i would see the day a "good" parent would get judge because she tries to keep her family safe. it sounds to me like mommy and daddy didnt hug you enough :( so sad you are such a stuck up prick dogging a mother for trying to keep her daughter safe during a TORNADO WARNING!

This is all the national weather service's fault. If they weren't so anxious to sound the alarms and start crying wolf. I don't know why they have changed their policies to declare a tornado everytime doppler radar shows a slight circulation. The technology they have now can determine with more accuracy than ever before, but a couple of leaves swirling on the sidewalk and they want to scream tornado. People are going to get tired of being told there is a tornado, then they will start getting killed when there actually is one.

i would guess you're either a child that goes to school, or a crack head mom who makes it in the kitchen once your 8 kids heads off to school.
You my dear are the dumb-ass as there is no such thing as a Severe Tornado Warning, There is a Tornado Warning or Tornado Watch, or a Severe Weather Warning, and we DID have a Tornado Warning!

For real, if there is a warning, people need to be on the alert. You never realy know what can happen. Remember when that tornado popped up on Lancaster Rd about 3 yrs. ago, it came from around Garrard Co., so anyway it killed a few people, Mike was a relative of mine. I went out there and what i saw was scarey. So, since then, I take no chances. You parents have all the right in the world to do what you think is best to protect your kids.
The sirens went off that day too, but they were a little, like a second too late.

I heard the tornado warning on 18 action news. That alone told me nothing was going to happen.

Whatever the news screams, you know it's just bullshit to cover for whatever is going on they are trying to hide.

So load your brats on the bus and go back to bed. Or keep them home if you feel they are in danger. But remember missing too much school is exactly what is wrong with you causing you to post ignorant postings with atrocious spelling and grammar.

But thanks to the working class Republicans for providing you and yours with free rent, food, cell phones, and no doubt cable TV, so even if they remain as stupid as you, they will not starve because you withheld them from learning. Welfare can support them as well as you. I mean really.... What is a few more stupid children here or there?

I just read Tommy Floyd's post in FB! What a joke, he has provided a link to Richmond registers report on the issue of calling off school! Proves even more what a liar he really is! He said it was too late to call of school as most buses were already out...really? Well I know for a fact most don't leave till 6 a.m and even by 5 a.m news channels were reporting this to hit our area at 6:30! You had plenty of time to make a call Floyd! And another thing you reported that NO bus drivers called in scared for their safety?? WOW! Like I said I know for a fact numerous drivers did radio in and was told by Benton to make the call on what to do because he wasn't there in that situation and couldn't advise!! And another note he said they didn't call it off because kids were already standing out waiting..no they weren't! Every parent was watching the news and did not send their kid waiting in a monsoon for the bus! Matter of fact buses were almost empty because parents opted to take their own children! I hope everyone of you parents go to his FB and blast him for such foolish remarks and lies! He's trying to cover his tail with this story in the Richmond register! Let him have it!!! It's much deserved trust me!

The lady that Skipper is slipping it to told me she heard from him that no drivers had reported any problems. I asked really? She said she was laying across the desk at the time and the phone did not ring. So there you have it. No problems.

The one word EVERY in your post shows the depths of your knowledge. If every parent is this concerned please tell me why less than 25% of the parents of Madison County ever attend a parent teacher conference, are seldom even willing to pick their child up when sick and won't return phone calls the majority of the time. Trust me, I work in the system and my bet is that most were delighted we had school. I am no Mr. Floyd fan but he was not wrong this time.

As a parent, it's very obvious that we have a problem at our school board and leadership at our bus garage . Can't we all sign a petition or something to get. These people that are taking advantage of there position to step down or be removed and replaced . We as a county deserve better for our children than just set on here and complain . Let's get the ball rolling in the right direction ..

You certainly do have a right. It is called running for school board. There are few that run and even fewer that have the ability to oversee a multimillion dollar budget. If you want change run for a seat from your district. Otherwise you will be complaining for nothing.

In 1996 I lived in jessamine county, a 11th grader in school. We were sent to school during a tornado warning issued for the entire county. By the time our school bus was turning into the high school a tornado hit the school. The sound of the windows busting on a school bus is very very scary as hell. I was 16 and it is not something I would ever want my 2 children to ever have to go through. I was petrified of storms until I had to grow up and be brave for my daughter cause I transferred the fear to her!!! The school system is suppose to be a safe haven for our children and 1. A school delay doesn't hurt a child's attendance 2. Just because there are a few bad apples no one should wish bad things to happen to children. And 3. I bet all these dumb asses sitting here with mouth diarrhea if ur babies were on a bus and a tornado did hit, ur asses would be pissed too. And talk bout how the kids a t in ur county, read what u wrote and think, we'll them heathens have great role model to take it from!!!

If r kids got blown away you'd be singing a different tune you moron! I work too but my children are a hell of a lot more important than a paycheck. Nothing is ever done until someone gets hurt. Maybe it will be your child next time and I guarantee you things won't be the same huh? Perfect attendance doesn't matter when you are 6 ft under!

Thing is ya see...Nothing did happen, so ultimately the correct call was made. I will say it again...If YOU feel it is unsafe for your kids to get on the bus for ANY reason, I have ZERO problem with you keeping home, but it seems YOU have a problem with people who have a different opinion than you. You chose to pitch a fit and act like a spoiled brat over something that I personally feel wasn't an issue. I have no problem with your opinion, but again you seem to have a problem with mine...Dont really give a damn

You will find as you travel through life that the better the education any person has, the less likely they are to run their mouths.

Here in Madison county we have an abundance of crack whores an pimp wanna be's. Clearly stupid ugly ignorant people. That is why they run their mouths. That is also why their children are borderline retards. Those that are not already in special ed.

You clearly have no children or you work under Tommy Floyd's desk. This is the most pathetic wanna be political little town on the map. Get your knees off the floor and pay attention to what goes on around here. So in essence you are saying if the same stupid call was made and children were killed it would have been wrong? Since noone was hurt it was right? You are obviously very uneducated or like I stated...have an abundance of scabs on your knees.

Uneducated? I think not...I have a degree in business... I have 2 kids in Madison county school system... I do not work for Mr Floyd... nor am I a fan of Mr Floyd... my point is I didn't think twice on that morning of sending my kids to school... only when I heard a couple redneck mom's talking about this did I know it was an issue.

Sounds like those "redneck" moms care more about the safety of their children than you do. You must have sent them after the warning sirens went off or after you received your crack from Orange Street.
