How the hell can an entire county be UNDER A SEVERE TORNADO WARNING WITH SIRENS AND THE NATIONAL WEATHER CHANNEL CALLING FOR RICHMOND RESIDENTS TO TAKE COVER AND BUSES STILL DRIVING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND SCHOOL STILL ON THE SAME AS NORMAL....incompetent ignorance T.FLOYD AND THE MADISON CO BOARD OF EDUCATION

okay, the county was under a server weather warning. it was not, i repeat NOT under serve tornado warning. so before you dumb ass idiots jump on this dumb ass band wagon, check your facts.

i would guess you're either a child that goes to school, or a crack head mom who makes it in the kitchen once your 8 kids heads off to school.

I'm so glad someone has posted this! There needs to be something done about these peopl-specifically T.Floyd if this is the best he can do for our children here n Richmond Berea & the Waco area...What kind of excuse would he be giving or what kind of finger pointing would he be doing if something horrible happened to some of our children this morning???? This needs to be brought to maybe the news channels and see if he'll listen then??????

I AM FOR ABSOLUTE SURE OF A COUPLE OF THINGS. THE FIRST IS I AM A NURSE THAT WORKS WITH ST JOE AND HAV 2 kids with my husband of 14yrs SO N SAYING THAT >MY NEWS STATION WAS TELLING ALL OF RICHMOND TO TAKE SHELTER AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS ETC ALL WHILE TERE WERE BUSES ALSO IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD! So are we residents of Madison county suppose to take what our weather channels are relaying to us and throw it out the window because our super intendant didn't take heed to the warnings!!!! It's not for him to decide what's worth our children's safety when the PROFESSIONALS ARE TELLING US TO NOT BE OUT STAY IN DOORS AND THAT THIS IS A THREAT TO OUR SAFETY!

All T. Floyd is worried about is money, if we do not go to school the county gets no money. T. Floyd along with Skip Benton need to put out of the school system. Neither one of them have a glue what our Bus Drivers go thru on mornings like this. They where safe and sound in their offices. Neither one of them can drive a bus nor do they offer to go out on a bus to see what the drivers go thru. We where just lucky this morning that no one got hurt. They need to realize there luck will run out one of these days, I hope it does not but if they keep taking chances with people lives it is going to happen.

No sex, no welfare, no food stamps, no money from the gov't!!!! Tommy Floyd is just lucky nobody was killed this morning. His luck will run out. I think I will call one of the news channels.

If a couple of these trashy kids were blown off to Kansas, it would be no big loss. Just less crime we will have in a few years. Guess a few were upset that they couldn't fire up the meth lab this morning.

Nobody said anything about life waiting on weather. But I dam* sure am not going to put my child in harms way, on a bus in the middle of a tornado warning. I seen the vinyl siding of my apartment building torn off due to the high winds of the storm. tinetater you are a got dam* moron, you post on almost everything when you have no clue at all. Get real.

Baw, why u no cancel school on account of rain? I've never seen a group of people freak out so much about weather. Don't get me started on the drizzle alerts they set the sirens off for every time it gets cloudy in the summer.

Just makes the kids lazy like their parents thinking they can call out of work or not work at all over every little thing. Plus the national weather service issuing tornado warnings without proof. Used to have to be visual verification of one before a warning. These staright line winds that rotate for 10 seconds would never have been considered tornadoes 15 years ago. You have the right to keep your kid home if you feel it isn't safe, the same as you have the right to raise an illiterate dumbass like yourself.

Watch them run when a bus gets blowed to hell with kids on it! The bus drivers do not like being out in that kind of situation either, trees blowed over the roads and stuff flying in the air,,get real people, what is a hour out of your time. How the heck do you not have a hour delay in your agenda as you call it? It would have a least been daylight.

So would you be the first in line to help clean up the blood and guts if something did happen, or maybe donate money to the parents who had to bury a child,,,,,,don't think so buster

I do feel it would have been appropriate to have delayed school for an hour. When the bus picked up in my neighborhood, we were still under a tornado warning, and the skies had let loose with torrential rain. I pity any child that was forced to be out in it. Garrard County was under a tornado warning at 5:30 am, and the storm was heading toward Madison. I don't think anyone could have predicted whether we would or would not have been in the path of a tornado, but at 5:30, there was time to delay school, just in case. It has nothing to do with lazy parents not wanting to send their children to school. It has everything to do with common sense.

Keep your damn kids home and shut up.
You dont know what you would do until you are in anyones shoes. Im not taking up for the superintendent by no means, but damn, cry babies, if you are so worried about your damn kids, dont put them on the bus, dont send them to school, check them in late or whatever, but why cry about it on a public website. Half you retards on here probably live in trailers anyways, where it would be alot safer for your kids to be at school, compared to getting killed in dixie plaza next to some child molestin bobby or in spurlin next to some pill head agees. If your kids are going to public schools, I assure you, you have bigger and worse things to worry about than the damn rain or some high winds or even tornadoes.
