I made the same mistake about 15 years ago, and have never been so stupid as to do it again. Go to court, plead guilty, and you will get a fine, somewhere under $1000 (again, it's been a long time for me), you will have to attend a few classes, and loss of your license for a short time. No more jail time, just don't make the same mistake again. After its all said and done you will realize how much cheaper a taxi is.

I hope it is your last one. Your life can be ruined as well as others with drugs and alcohol. What makes you drink in the first place? Are you sad/Lonely. Do u have a family that loves you. Talk to them they will b there for you. Please don't ruin your life as well as possibly the life of others drinking and driving there is so much more out there for you .

They should bury your ass under the jail. Don't care if it IS your first DUI...morons like you do not deserve second chances, nor the right to possess a license. I hope you get fired from your job, get sentenced to 60 years in prison, a fine of $3,000,000, and a billboard in the middle of Richmond with your photo and details of your crime for all to see. It was an IDIOT just like you that hit my mom and dad head-on and killed them on impact. Jail is too good for you and others like you who choose to do something as selfish and stupid as to get behind the wheel of a car impaired. Truth be told, you're probably some raging alcoholic or pill head who drives under the influence all the time, but only got caught once. The world would be a much better place without you and your kind in it.

u two are stupid. a lot of people have made the same mistake.... me included the main reason I never sought help was because of judgmental asses like u two. there was only 1 perfect person and things didn't turn out so well for him. would be kinda funny to see u two nailed to some 2x4's and left out for other jerks like u to see

I agree with your comment about the two previous posters. Judgmental and idiotic. These are probably the same people who go to church every Sunday, claim they are forgiving Christains and then want to nail someone to a cross on Monday morning. I don't care who you are -- everyone makes mistakes and comes up short sometimes. The true test of a person's character is not whether they make a mistake, it is whether they take the steps to rectify the mistake. Anyone who claims they have never messed up is a liar. Everybody can make an error in judgment once. I got a p.i. and that was lesson enough for me.

Me too. The lesson I learned is that I'm faster in my car and on foot than all the police in the Richmond and Berea area. Now I just run when they come around, no more jail time for me!!!
