Central certainly needed a track. They used the middle school's track as their home track....

Thats bc Tommy "MC" Floyd knew that ppl in berea would raise a fit if MC got the field and stadium before MS got anything. So he justified it by "giving" MS the field first. Then MC got both the field and the stadium. Like i said MC = Golden child.

Read the article in the paper today that the young players with little to no varsity experience are expected to step up since there is only one returning starter and he's currently injured.....

MS can have all of our rejects. We still have something they will never have 2013 Kentucky State Boys Basketball Champions. Has a nice ring to it.

okay, they grabbed one. awesome! but.....(there's always a but isnt there)....

MC is a 6A school. they just lost to a 5A school. and this bowl game is against a 4A school.(and will probally, more then likely) loss again. and don't give me crap about making it into the plyoffs last 3 years in football... every 6A school makes the playoffs! sure, mc will win a few games this year in foortball, since they are playing smaller schools. lexcat is a 2A or 3A and they are going to hand mc another embarssing loss like they do every year. this team, this coaching staff, is a JOKE!!!!

How about small sophomores who never played JV. Saturday was their first Varsity game, simply inexperience. Not an excuse...a fact. It's gonna be like that all season, unfortunately.

What's your role, LMAO? You get off on putting people down? What's your life like?

Good points HANSON, but i have some questions for you. Sounds like all the juniors and seniors were thrown off the team. i mean if they are all sophomores. nope, that can't be it, i saw a program... there are upperclassmen on the team. okay, so what's the root of the problem? underclassmen are just better but have no experince? Nope, that cant be it because talent over rides experience.(and not to mention, they have experince playing football, they played freshman ball and middle school, so can't use that EXCUSE) upperclassmen just stink? nope, that can't be it, because last year you were praising how good the juniors were and what a promising program next year will be.

well, i guess that leaves just one thing left to point the finger at... the coaching staff!!!!

It could be the coaching staff but the varsity inexperience has a lot to do with it as well. Perhaps the coaches ran off the upperclassmen. i don't know. There may be upperclassmen on the roster but if you compare the roster with the players on the field, there were mostly sophomores and freshmen (quarterbacks, tailbacks, defensive backs, receivers, etc). As we all know, most varsity starters don't go from playing freshmen to varsity. We all got the chance to play our own size and caliber in JV. There's no chance that a 130 pound fifteen year can run over a 200 pound 18 year old. As mentioned earlier, it's gonna be a bad season, unfortunately. I'm looking forward to when these kids a seniors. They will have a boatload of experience and size by then.

I don't remember the praises from last year that were on the juniors. Last years praises were on the seniors. That had a great freshman year, many played as sophomores and many of last year's seniors were the same athletes that won the state basketball title. Last year's football team didn't have very many juniors. You may be speaking about the year before....

Madison Central football practice was delayed nearly 3 hours today after a player reported finding a white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Browne immediately suspended practice and called the local police and federal investigators. After a complete analysis, FBI forensics experts determined that the white powdery substance unknown to the MCHS football players was the goal line. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again the entire season.

If Central coaches treated players better they would not all want to go to Southern to play sports. The kids are sick of politics and sub par coaches in this town and that is why Central football will always suck.

Why are there so many young players? MCHS is a 6a school with over 1,700 students. Why does a 6A team with a new 4.5 million dollar stadium have to depend upon freshmen and sophomores to lead a Varsity Team? There should be plenty of Juniors and Seniors on roster. What is coach doing or not doing to get these athletes on team. Obviously not enough.

This coaching staff is the worst in history. Every couple of years he turns his back on the upperclassman and only plays underclass man so he can have a "decent" season every 4 years! What a loser the Browne guy is!

i think you said it... it IS what he is doing that there aren't any juniors and seniors on the team to lead them....
