Until Charles Stiles retires. Then it will wither away or be taken over.

Charles Stiles should be made an official Madison County Hero for starting this organization and seeing it as far as he has. Countless lives have been saved thru his and this organizations efforts

Keep up the good works MCRS but with a heavy heart I feel your days are numbered. I hope I am wrong.

the madison county rescue squad will never go away.... Stiles is way to old to be running trucks there ... Also how can some one kill 2 people in 2 different crashes and still be allowed to serve ?!!! beats the hell out of me !!!!! i bet they have to use most of the money they raise to pay insurance for those old fuckers to drive those trucks .........

You don't have to be skinny to save a life you ignorant bastards. And I'm a REAL health-care professional, not a EMT who couldn't get into med school.

Here's to you two:

I feel charles stiles is the back bone to the rescue squad,Al is his right hand man and these guys are great, they volunteer their time,YES I agree there are some on there that are smart a$$ and need to be took down a notch or two. But yet it is great what they do.
I personally have had the help of them several times and I am very much glad they are around.

let me leave on this if it was not for charlie stiles starting the rescue squad it would not be here and sounds like to me someone is very jeoulous so get over it

What about the guy on the motor cycle he pulled out in front of killing him. It was his fault but nothing was ever done and he turn on a red light in front of him. Makes a person wonder more and more about this town and the people in charge

You know, I have no clue, about this situation you are referring to. but...accidents happen all the time. we all have them. I accidently pulled out in front of someone the other day. I didnt see the other car. I just didnt see it. so, we should never judge someone unless we have walked in their shoes.

If this man started the rescue squad years ago, then, it sounds like he has dedicated his life to Madison County and you should be proud of this. Thank him. There is not too many people that would do that. It takes a kind heart to do this

Witnesses stated that the motorcycle rider felled to yeild the right-of-way to the emergency vehicle, so it was ruled the riders fault.

i was a member for about 7 years.i recovered several bodies from the river and 1 from a farm pond. all because charles stiles taught me and we also had traing at rescue school at eku and we won several trophies at competition years ago charles stiles and walter corneilison are the greatest men in this county. they both taught me alot not just rescue but character as well. while i was a member i am sure i helped save several lives and i worked hard at it. this is a fine bunch of guys. i wish i had never left. but i did. water under the bridge. anyhow thanks to all you guys keep it up and god bless you on every call

My husband was suffering a heart attack and the Madison County Rescue Squad told me he had the flu and refused to transport him. My husband went into complete heart failure while I was trying to drive him to St. Joseph hospital. Thank God I was able to get a Fayette county rescue squad to meet me at exit 104. My husband had to be shocked 3 times before his heart restarted. Then Madison County had the nerve to send me a bill for $540 dollars. My husband was 39 years old, and had no previous heart condition so the ambulance driver made his own diagnosis which almost cost my husband his life.
