Never had any problems there, but I only buy supplies there, never actually bought a pet from there. Nice staff, pretty helpful. I haven't used their dog grooming service or their obedience school, though, so can't comment on those.

I like the store..I buy supplies there for my pets. Friendly and helpful but they have the habit of not giving you the sale price on something. Check the amounts at the register or make sure to check your receipt.

I use their grooming department for my dog. They do a wonderful job! My dog always acts like he is happy when we take him there. He's usually shy but the girls there have always been helpful and kind to him. We really like their salon. I don't usually buy supplies there, we do every now and then. I've never had any problems though.

I like how they save cats from high killing animal shelters.

I have bought 4 parakeets from them.. There still alive a year later. Other then being alittle pricy there ok. I try to support the animal house when ever I can though. There a local business. Nothing bad to say about either.

I thought I'd never take my dogs into a grooming salon. I usually bathe my dogs and groom them myself. But life has gotten really busy for me lately and where I currently live I don't have a place to give them baths or let them dry. So I've been taking them to the petsmart grooming salon. They do such a wonderful job and all the people in that store are so friendly! I love taking my dogs to the grooming salon. They smell so good afterward I just hug them all day!:P

I occasionally buy my dogs Blue Buffalo food at Petsmart when I can afford it. But they eat so much I sometimes just end up going to Meijer to stock up on Iams. I do, however, get all their treats and toys at Petsmart.

The Richmond Petsmart is the best Petsmart I've ever been to.

I love the petsmart in Richmond! We adopted a pitbull puppy and was worried about it being non obedient so we took it to the training classes, Gwen was our trainer she is amazing and very caring, we have been looking for a brother for her for about 2 months and Gwen the trainer was fostering one and asked us to meet him because she thought he would be a good match for my pit. We adopted him on the spot, can't wait to pick him up next Saturday!

How soon people forget that PetSmart stole Jim Blake's dog Angel. They are associated with "Trueheart Min-Pin Rescue" which is a 501C-3 TAX EXEMPT charity scam. If you start looking into the finances & management of the PET RESCUE organizations you will soon realize they are a MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR scam operation. The facts DO NOT LIE.

Actually they aren't now. Only a few rescues are there now. Some rescues are better than others. Petsmart is NOT a rescue, they just provide them a space to bring in animals for adoption. The can't control what the people who work for the rescues or their volunteers do. Every time I have been in petsmart the employees have been friendly and helpful and I've found what I needed.

You forget about checking on the "Rescue" organizations that the management of P.S. is in cahoots with. All it takes is a little research into the financials of the various "Rescue" organizations to see that many are running SCAMS that makes the operators of the rescue organizations THOUSANDS of DOLLARS of tax free money. The more I looked into the financials the more amazed I was. Take a look for yourself.

Yet you fail to back up any of your assertions with documents. Congratulations; you're just like every other bloviating buffoon who waltzes down the aisles of Topix...

Look into the financials. Check out the properties owned by the officers of Trueheart MinPin Rescue. You will be amazed. The property deeds are on record in the Mad Cow Courthouse Clerk office.

Looks like someone has a grudge.

I'd place even odds on RODEN being either a disgruntled PetSmart employee, or person associated with The Animal House or another competing pet store that is no doubt struggling to keep customers, now that PetSmart is doing cleaner, cheaper, superior business.

What enemies of large chain businesses fail to realize is that nearly all chains start out as mom-and-pops, too. They merely succeed more than their competitors, and are then able to expand. Even WalMart was once a single store.

Regardless, PetSmart is great. Don't be mislead by those with an agenda. If there were any merit to their claims, you'd have heard about them somewhere other than the Proofless Gossip and Defamation Capitol of the Internet.

Was anyone at the big adoption campaign on Derby Day? Heard there was a large selection due to a hoarding case. I hope a lot of babies found homes.

I have never set foot in that store. I always investigate the financials before doing business with any company, and the clowns in management at Pet Smart do NOT PASS the SMELL TEST. Like I stated in an earlier post, look into the financials of True Heart Min Pin Rescue and then look into the Madison County PVA web site regarding the Real Estate owned by the officers of the True Heart Min Pin Rescue. I think those who really want to know will be amazed.
