There only one obvious choice and that is Mike Coyle.

Unless you want a real Sheriff.

Was Coyle in on dismantling the drug task force when Combs was in?

Please tell me why anyone would take it easy on dope dealers?

Nelson would have jailed them by now.

The truth of the matter is that the task force was dismantled under Nelson's regime. Did all of you Nelsonites jump the fence too? If so there's nothing to you just like Nelson!

People that voted for Combs did not realize what he was. I guess we should have paid more attention to the video of him destroying election signs. An obvious violation of the law. So we should have known better.

We now realize what we have done and will re-elect Nelson. We have learned our lesson as the dopers have ran us over.

Funny stuff here: Jerry Combs drunk stealing election signs.

Well the funny thing is that the voters figured out Nelson and voted his sorry ass out of office. They voted against him not once but twice because the damn old cry baby was to damn arrogant to accept the fact that a better man beat him fair and square!

But it is well known that the drug users and dealers in Southern Madison County rallied and allowed Combs to win.

And I cannot wait for Nelson to get in again and use the powers of the police to locate all the trash talkers and see how bad they are in person as he drags their butts to jail.

Here is something to consider.

You always hear about the Sheriff's race and who is going to be Sheriff but nobody pays attention to Constable's. Now before you discount this post read on.
When you ignore or just cast a vote without knowing anything about the person in that race. Whether you like the position or not you're giving that person that same powers as the Sheriff.

Yes, look into it. It's a Constitutional Office just like the Sheriff, County wide Jurisdiction just like the Sheriff. Even though the County Judge thinks they can tell them what to do, they can't. Look at your KRS.

The Sheriff and the Constable(s) are the two highest ranking law enforcement offices in the county. Yes, a Constable ranks higher than the police when push comes to shove. Why is this? Because the police department is an appointed local position while the Sheriff and Constable are both elected by the people and are Constitutional Offices which trump any appointed office.

So while you debate over the future Sheriff you should look just as close at who you're putting in as Constable. Far too many cowboys get in because it's ignored as a joke.

I am forced to agree that this is too powerful of an office to simply overlook even if we don't like it or think that it's outdated. Until it's gone it should be respected for what it by law. Your handing someone a badge.

It's quite obvious that you don't have the first clue of what you are talking about. Nelson didn't carry all of the precincts in the Northern end. So I guess that those precincts are drug users and dealers too? You Nelsonites are complete idiots just like Nelson himself. Always remember that Arrogance equals Ignorance! Nelson made the statement many times that he didn't need peoples votes to get re-elected and that's what cost the Arrogant dumbass the race not the dope users and drug dealers!

Let's say this, Nelson isn't perfect, Mr.com bs and Mr.Coyle not perfect.
It's very clear mistakes have been made across the board.

For the Mr. Coyle supporters, you will be surprisingly shocked at what's to come.

For the Nelson supporter's, you will be relieved to see lessons learned and some people still have morals, core beliefs, and that the idea of a true law, a non biased law is trying to make it's way back.

The Political figures involved will no longer be allowed to harbor and protect convicted felons who beat women and cave in their face, all while providing PIG ROAST, fundraisers, advertising for certain political figures all over their drug paid for vehicles. The day of convicted Felons who cannot even vote, providing political figures with money and cook outs hopefully will be over.
Madison County gets smarter with every 4 years that go by. Let's hope this election will be different.

People should Really pay attention to Court, net. It's amazing who can commit felonies time and time again, never see a jail cell, and skim by so quietly.

Topix Nation, Take notice !!!!!!!!!!

Look it up, research, ask around. It's out there all over.

You wanna know who not to vote for:

Do your homework, Look around and see who's in the court system for felony Domestic Violence charges, who is a convicted felon to begin with, and the see who is cooking pigs for which political figures?

Madison County should Take notice. The seemingly best character for the job, could be a snake in the grass.

What in the F@#K are you rambling about? Topix Nation??. I kind of look around at this crap around election time and it amazes me how many red neck, uninformed, ignorant, wanna' be for what I see as politicians running for office, putting their message on "Topix?". I hope this isn't the case, because if it is, we're all fu#ked! So, just to humor these "Politicians?", I endorse anyone who seems like they care about the betterment of our community instead of making a name for him/herself. Two come to mind who are already in these positions, one in the county race, one in the city race who I think are very capable but I'm not going to put their names on here because anyone who has any sense whatsoever knows who to vote for in the Sheriff/Mayor race. I can only vote for one of these individuals though because I live in the county. I'll lobby my friends in town though to vote for the logical Mayor's race.

Let's tie some loose ends.
The same person who got arrested last night for D.U.I in Berea, is the same one who beats women, and is under charges for Felony Assault 2nd.
Probably court ordered no alcohol, definately, no more trouble, for the current assault charges.
But guess what? He's out.
Probably reading a pig to Roast for some official?

Tip: Jail tracker, search released in mates, occurred date is 3-22, third letter of the alphabet.

I also been reading on these Sheriff characters. I do not understand the problem. 10 minutes of reading and I now know that the only intelligent choice for Sheriff is Nelson O`Donnell.

I know both candidates and there is only one clear choice to make and that's Mike Coyle. Mike is approachable and has plenty of common sense where Nelson is unapproachable and possesses no common sense.

There's an old man that would tell you that the all mighty Nelson has no morals and no values. Is Mike Coyle divorced? Did Mike Coyle ever have his wife and girlfriend both pregnant at the same time? The answer to both of these questions is NO. But Nelson is guilty of both!
