Who replaced Ms. Mills? Glad she is gone. She thought she was better than anyone else.

I think Marsha VanHook replaced her. I know nothing about her though. I also heard they were looking for a new gym teacher. Any word on that?

I hated to see Tim Lawson leave. He put his heart and soul into being the best music teacher ever. He had good discipline and respect of the students.

Ms. Bogard was a great teacher. Ms. Chenault is good even if she can seem a bit heavyhanded.
Ms. Hopkins is gone. Ms. Tudor pretty much runs the place. Ms. webb is a sweet librarian. ah Waco Cardinals.

So glad Mrs Knuckles is still at Waco. She was an excellent gym teacher. Any idea on what she will be teaching?

You are right, So True. I miss those good people. Tudor THINKS she runs the joint. Somebody will put her in her place someday. VanHook needs to get unhooked from Waco. They can do so much better. She is not professional and is mean to people. She'll have her day too. I don't even like going in the place anymore, knowing I have to deal with those two.

Staff turnover seems to be a problem in the schools today. A younger faculty less seasoned is never a good thing.

Vanhook is a joke. I've been to the board of education twice and there scared to even talk to me. They call me then they lie to me saying they'll make it right then don't. Oh well I don't let my kids serve there punishments anymore. When they give detention I don't let them stay if they send home red cards I tear them up and send them back. I don't pay for lunches or any other fees they say my kids owe. The only thing I sign and pay for is the fieldtrip permission slips other than that they can go to hell!!!

My kids went there a few years back. I literally pulled them out of there and sent them to Mayfield because of her. I'm still driving them to school every day because that woman screamed at the top of her lungs in the front office at another mom while I was standing there. I was shocked. How id a principal supposed to discipline our students when they have none themselves? Raving lunatic....

Mills left Waco cause she bout got busted with Mr. Allen. If you wonder how she got the job, I'm sure you can ask him about the "skills" she has.

So, I heard Marsha was leaving Waco Elementary. Please tell me this is true. I disagree with everything she stands for and do not want my child to be exposed to people like her.

This worries me. I looked up all the local schools on this forum and it looks like Waco is the only one getting such bad comments. We just moved to Waco and my kids are supposed to start there this coming year. Is there a way I can send them to another school?

Scared, you have to consider who is on this site commenting. 90% of the people are the ones whose kids get in constant trouble at school, are truant, and who fail. If you ask around to "normal" people living in Waco, they'll tell you that Waco is a great place to go to school. Don't worry.

Waco is an awesome school with a family atmosphere that most parents love. It has a solid reputation and feeds into one of the best middle schools around, Clark Moores. Don't worry :)
