Selective amnesia. How past deeds don't have any bearing on the present and none of this has anything to with 2016….I mean how could it possibly?

Good point. As has been said many times, "if the non-producers outnumber the producers, bad things will happen to this country"...

It's the ghetto vote, it's all those non-producers in the ghetto, it was a landslide from the ghetto, the ghetto wave carried Obama to the WHITE House. Take back OUR country. Watch out you two, your white sheets are slipping into view.

To picture this, imagine two alternative universes for the 2012 election. In the first, only individuals making less than $50,000 a year can vote; in the second, only those making more than $100,000 a year can. Based on exit polls from Election Day, we have a decent idea of how these scenarios would play out.

In the first universe, Barack Obama wins in a 1984-style landslide, with a near sweep of the Electoral College and around 60 percent of the popular vote.

In the second universe, Mitt Romney wins with a healthy 54 percent of the popular vote. Though he still carries the red states, a landslide remains out of his grasp — wealthy voters in blue states like New York and California still support Obama by comfortable margins.

Remarkably, this same pattern has occurred in every presidential contest over the past twenty years. Lower-income voters consistently support the Democratic candidate in nearly every state. Upper-income voters, on the other hand, are more mixed in their political views: wealthy voters in Mississippi are strongly Republican while wealthy voters in Massachusetts are strongly Democratic. Extensive analyses of survey information from these elections show that this relationship holds even when controlling for age, race, sex and education.

In other words, contrary to what you have heard, there’s only a strong red America-blue America split toward the top of the income distribution. Toward the bottom, the electoral map is a sea of blue.

Why does this happen? Our research on opinion poll data from earlier elections finds that lower-income Americans tend to vote based on economic issues, while richer voters consider social issues as well as economics in their voting decisions. This is sometimes called post-materialism: the idea that, as individuals or groups become more comfortable, they can afford to think beyond their immediate needs.

Obama received a whopping 93% of black votes & 71% of Latino votes. Facts are facts. You calling me a racist, is hardly worth a reply.

So, what's your point?
In 11 states, those receiving govt benefits outnumber the number of taxpayers in the private sector. 7 of those states voted for Obama. In California, there are 139 people receiving govt benefits for every 100 private sector workers.
In 2012, entitlement spending accounted for 62% of federal spending. Of that 62%- 22% Medicare, Medicaid or other, 21% Social Security, 19% Welfare and other entitlements. the remaining 38% of the spending included: 19% Defense, 6% Interest, 4% Education, 1% Foreign affairs, 8% other.

Do you really think that is sustainable by any stretch of the imagination?
In 12 years, food stamp recipients has tripled from 17 million in 2000 to nearly 47 million today. Good
grief, the federal govt even has a website people can go to in order to see what they can qualify for, our govt is encouraging people to get on the dole.

'According to Chris Cox and Bill Archer, two men who served on Bill Clinton's Bipartisan Commission on Entitlement and Tax Reform, there is no way in the world that we could raise taxes high enough to pay for all of the obligations that we are currently taking on. They say that even if we taxed all corporations and all individuals at a 100% tax rate on all income over $66,193, "it wouldn't be nearly enough to fund the over $8 trillion per year in the growth of U.S. liabilities."'

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/t...

There are more than 100 MILLION people receiving welfare of some kind from the govt - that does NOT include those receiving only Social Security or Medicare.
And on the subject of immigration: 36% of immigrant households receive some form of govt benefit.

http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/09/...

So, once again, if your point was to show that those who want those govt checks to keep on coming supported Obama - don't bother, we are already well aware of it. And we are also aware that this trend is not sustainable. There are not enough taxpayers out there to keep letting those who are perfectly able to work settle into their hammocks for the duration. And as is always the case, this has nothing to do with those who truly need help, only those who have realized that they can have a pretty good lifestyle without working for it - if they just know how to work the system.

NEWSFLASH-

Police, Firemen, Teachers and all other 'state workers' who receive a paycheck from the government are "TAKERS" and not "MAKERS" That's right folks if you don't work in the private sector you are completely government dependent and are a drain on the economy….scum I tell ya'. Who in the hell do you think you are any how? You don't contribute one damn thing to society. You are according to "Aggie" herself (I mean who could be more authoritative than that. "those who have realized that they can have a pretty good lifestyle without working for it - if they just know how to work the system." You don't even work for your hand out.

The proof is right here in a Forbes magazine article -

<"A writer at Forbes Magazine has identified a phenomenon called the “death spiral states.” Sounds intimidating, right? Fox Business Network’s Melissa Francis broke down what you need to know on America Live today.

The category includes 11 states where private sector workers are outnumbered by people who are dependent on the government. That number would include state workers, and people who are receiving welfare or pension. For example, in California the ratio of “takers versus makers” is bigger than one. If you own

a software company that employs 100 people, you’re supporting 139 other people in the state who are on the “takers” list.">

And you just gotta see those two from Fox news chatting about it. It's right there in the link.

It's a "Death Spiral" I tell ya'- heck what could sound more ominous than that- Oh "Death Panels"…..ooops

Yep you can take that information to the bank folks because 'Aggie' herself has posted two mind you, not one but two, opinion blogs. It's only private workers who count in this society. Ayan Rand would be so darned proud to know that her work is alive and well in the vacuous minds of the backwater blogs of the nation. Remember now all you fundamentalist Christians AND boy scouts. "Altruism is the enemy of capitalism"

Read it real closely now- "That number would include state workers"

unfreaking believable- goodgodamighty!

Do you suppose part of the problem is that the big corporations, in their incessant greed, have moved too many jobs overseas and cut others to the bone? Think maybe that most companies are more worried about squeezing out a few more cents instead of what is best for the country?
Naw.. couldn't be.
Give a person a fish and they'll be hungry in a day. Teach them to fish and they'll have food. But send all those fishing jobs overseas and what do you have? Corporate America.
A race to the bottom, while redistributing the wealth upwards, resulting in a ghetto wave electing a Black Man to the White House, twice. It's all those nonproductive nonwhite voters, it couldn't be anything else.

I dont usually quote crazy Nancy but here's one for the local topix liberaces.

"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Monday that the IRS should be condemned for targeting conservative groups for special scrutiny in the run-up to last year’s elections, but she also blamed the Supreme Court for opening the door to broader political activity."

I haven't seen a post by any of the local topix liberaces saying the IRS was wrong. No why is that?

I love the spin, comparisons to "private sector workers" only.

"In 12 years, food stamp recipients has tripled from 17 million in 2000 to nearly 47 million today."

I love the spin, it simply unimaginable that during a deep worstest recession that the number of those seeking assistance would increase.

Come back when you've got something worthwhile to contribute.

" GEORGE WILL: A week ago, Mr. Carney - who's usefulness to this administration is diminishing rapidly - a week ago he said Benghazi was a long time ago as if it was the Punic Wars. This is a very live issue, because we now know three things.

We know that Mr. Hicks, the night of the attack, speaking from Libya, said pretty much what it was, an armed interaction, not a movie review conducted with rocket-propelled grenades and mortars.

Five days later on this program and on four other Sunday morning programs, the idea of an exceptionally boisterous movie review was still the administration's position.

And then, 14 days after the attack, at the UN, it was the same thing.

We started out with three arguments. Was security lax in Benghazi? Demonstrably. Could forces have been there to rescue them? Doubtful. Has the nation been systemically misled? Certainly.

Now, we need a select committee in congress because the State Department's misnamed accountability review board neglected to interview even the secretary of state."

So anyone dont get the wrong idea and think I'm holding up crazy Nancy as someone who knows right from left, or up from down, here is another one of her crazy sayings that liberaces love to hear..

"Over the weekend, Nancy Pelosi heralded one of the benefits of the Affordable Care Act: a whole new wave of cameramen and writers.

With the main elements of the healthcare law set to go into place this year, Pelosi told MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry that the law “honors the vows of our Founders: life — a healthier life — liberty, the freedom to pursue your happiness.”“If you want to be a cameraman, a writer, if you want to be self-employed, start a business, change jobs, whatever you want to do, you can do that” because of the law’s coverage, she said."
