It's meant to be totally disgusting , just as totally disgusting as attitudes like ricky santorum there. Dish it out but can't take it. I can be just as polite or as just as down right vulgar and hateful as ricky "omte" santorum. Like I said you asked for it.

It seems there is evidence emerging about Hillary's fraud as a young Watergate attorney. Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong democrat supervised her work on the Democratic Judiciary committee. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary for unethical dealings and refused to write her a letter of recommendation. Mr. Zeifman was interviewed in Jan. & told exactly why he terminated her.
Oooops.

It was smart to flag those groups. The Tea Party was invented and funded in whole by the Koch Brothers to advance their anti-everybody-but-them agenda. All of these "non-profit" groups that they funnel money through are tax-exampt, but politics can't be their primary function. However - most of these groups WERE created with politics being their primary function, and this has been discovered numerous times by Koch-backed groups.
If you have to apologize for being smart - I guess they need to apologize. But it just makes sense that they would flag those groups for audits.
But I'm sure those on the Left would be squealing like little pigs if, under a Republican administration , organizations like Priorities USA and Priorities USA Action (that were both started by former Obama aides) were targeted for similar extra scrutiny.

Just as a little point of interest, Article 2 of the impeachment charges against Richard Nixon included
"He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavoured to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service,... in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be intitiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner."

And before you have a hissy fit that I am trying to say that charges need to be filed against Obama - that is NOT what I am saying. I am simply illustrating that this is no little matter when agents of a government entity, with the absolute power that the IRS has, show a bias towards organizations whose political point of view they disagree with. That is a blatant attempt to stifle free speech using the power of the govt.

Obama won't suffer, it'll be his puppets, Hillary & Rice. Hillary for not doing a darn thing about it, as it unfolded. Rice has already suffered by having to withdraw her name as a possible nomination as Secretary of State. That in itself, proves it was no little matter.

This is a twisted interpretation, Charlene Lamb -Deputy Asst Sec for Int'l Programs in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security stated in Oct 2012 that budget cuts were not a factor in either the refusal to increase security or the decision to lessen security. Eugene Robinson should have done his homework.

Did Clinton’s State Department fail to provide adequate security for the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi? In retrospect, obviously so. But the three diplomats who testified at the hearing gave no evidence that this failure sprang from anything other than the need to use limited resources as efficiently as possible.

House Republicans who voted to cut funding for State Department security should understand that their philosophy — small government is always better — has consequences. Bureaucrats have to make judgment calls. Sometimes they will be wrong.

CIA Takes Heat for Role in Libya
November 1, 2012, 9:05 p.m. ET
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405297...

...The U.S. effort in Benghazi was at its heart a CIA operation, according to officials briefed on the intelligence. Of the more than 30 American officials evacuated from Benghazi following the deadly assault, only seven worked for the State Department. Nearly all the rest worked for the CIA, under diplomatic cover, which was a principal purpose of the consulate, these officials said.

...Congressional investigators say it appears that the CIA and State Department weren't on the same page about their respective roles on security, underlining the rift between agencies over taking responsibility and raising questions about whether the security arrangement in Benghazi was flawed.
==========
Accountability Review Board (ARB) for Benghazi
http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/2...

FINDINGS
2. Systemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels within two bureaus of the State Department (the “Department”) resulted in a Special Mission security posture that was inadequate for Benghazi and grossly inadequate to deal with the attack that took place.

Security in Benghazi was not recognized and implemented as a “shared responsibility” by the bureaus in Washington charged with supporting the post, resulting in stove-piped discussions and decisions on policy and security.

...Overall, the number of Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) security staff in Benghazi on the day of the attack and in the months and weeks leading up to it was inadequate, despite repeated requests from Special Mission Benghazi and Embassy Tripoli for additional staffing.

...Special Mission Benghazi’s uncertain future after 2012 and its “non-status” as a temporary, residential facility made allocation of resources for security and personnel more difficult, and left responsibility to meet security standards to the working-level in the field, with very limited resources.

...At the same time, the SMC’s dependence on the armed but poorly skilled Libyan February 17 Martyrs’ Brigade (February 17) militia members and unarmed, locally contracted Blue Mountain Libya (BML) guards for security support was misplaced.

...there were some troubling indicators of its reliability in the months and weeks preceding the September attacks. At the time of Ambassador Stevens’ visit, February 17 militia members had stopped accompanying Special Mission vehicle movements in protest over salary and working hours.

Nope, it is an acknowledgement of the facts of Ms Lamb's testimony and acknowledgement of her position as Dept Asst Secretary of Int'l Programs in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security - which would cerrtainly imply she knows what she is talking about. No opinion needed - just a willingness to read and comprehend the written word.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher:“Was there any budget consideration and lack of budget which led you not to increase the number of people in the security force there?”
Charlene Lamb: No, sir.

This quotation includes Rep Rohrabacher's complete question:

State Department Official Charlene Lamb Testified Before The House Oversight Committee That Budget Cuts Had Nothing To Do With Security Decisions In Benghazi. REP. DANA ROHRABACHER (R-CA):“It has been suggested the budget cuts are responsible for lack of security in Benghazi, and I’d like to ask Ms. Lamb, you made this decision personally, was there any budget consideration and lack of budget that led you not to increase the number of people in the security force there?” STATE DEPARTMENT DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS CHARLENE LAMB:“No, sir.”(U.S. House Of Representatives, Oversight And Government Reform Committee, Hearing, 10/10/12)
