You've proven that you have a poor understanding of Civics 101, that you don't have rudimentary knowledge of recent political events, and that you don't even fully understand things that you've read, cut and pasted.
Given the fact that you know so little, doesn't it seem a bit out of place that you would use derisive names to describe those who know more than you?
You've picked a 'side' like picking a sports team before you even know if the players are any good. Maybe you should give some thought to that.
Oh, I know where you stand. and I know where I stand and it's not your side.

this is your side.

In September, the Columbus Dispatch in Ohio reported this sad and ugly news:“More than one out of every five registered Ohio voters is probably ineligible to vote. In two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeds the voting-age population: Northwestern Ohio’s Wood County shows 109 registered voters for every 100 eligible, while in Lawrence County along the Ohio River it’s a mere 104 registered per 100 eligible. Another 31 counties show registrations at more than 90 percent of those eligible, a rate regarded as unrealistic by most voting experts. The national average is a little more than 70 percent. In a close presidential election where every vote might count, which ones to count might become paramount on Election Day – and in possible legal battles afterward.” The Dispatch asked Ohio’s chief elections official, Secretary of State Jon Husted, what could be done about this problem. His answer? Not enough. Nine months ago, he asked U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder for a personal meeting to discuss how to balance seemingly conflicting federal laws so he could pare Ohio’s dirty voter list without removing truly eligible voters. Holder’s office never even bothered to reply – to either Husted or the newspaper. What does that tell you? It tells me voter fraud is and was an important tactic in re-electing Holder’s boss and Democrats throughout the country. Anyway, we all know how Ohio voted.

... UnitedHealth Group Inc.'s McGuire received his thank yous in the form of stock options—$1.6 BILLION of them, to be exact—but he took some of them on the days the company's stock price hit yearly lows, profiting when the stocks went up again.
McGuire was asked to leave in October 2006 after federal prosecutors and the IRS requested documents concerning his stock options and executive compensation.
What is this obsession with 2006????? The UHC CEO may STILL be making a gazillion dollars. I have no idea, but this is 2013!!!!! How about something more recent? 2012 0r 2013?

Here's a question for you specifically, Bored:
Who are the Koch Brothers, do they or do they not attempt to influence American politics, if they do what methodology do they use, and what would they gain if they were successful at influencing legislation in this country?
Do some studying on that and let us know what you come up with.
I know about the Koch brothers. They are your problem, not mine.
Tell me someone who dosen't try to influence legislation; or elections; or voter turnout; or voter fraud.

Pick your friends carefully, they will have an influence on your life. You don't want hang with the stupid kids. It doesn't turn out well. You probably have the potential to actually learn and understand what is going on in this country if you remain open-minded and pay attention.

You are correct, it was Obama's idea.
You are STILL missing the point!

Obama wasn't PROMOTING sequestration - sequestration was intended to be something SO bad that both sides would have to compromise to avoid it. It's the equivalent of rolling up a newspaper and smacking a Congressman on the nose and saying "Bad Legislator! Bad!"

When it came to cutting programs that were useful to the middle-class Republican lawmakers were as happy as could be. But if it meant raising taxes on the mega-wealthy - they just couldn't budge and allowed sequestration to happen.

I can't spell it out any more clearly than that. Sequestration was intended as a deterrent to break the partisan gridlock that Congress has been in.

So repeat after me. Say it out loud. "Sequestration was intended as a deterrent to promote partisan agreements." Now say it again just to make sure it sinks in.

By the way: The Koch Brothers are EVERYONES problem. You don't want to live in an America where they get what they want.

I know the same way Patton knew.
I read it and it ain't pretty for healthcare in America.
I don't pay attention to other's who pay lipservice.
I suggest you go to healthcare.org and read up on it, a government site for Obamacare.
It won't tell the cost because they don't know, it won't tell you how much will be taken away from medicare or medicaid.
It will lower the standards of healthcare while increasing government control at the same time there is a shortage of doctors.
At this point in time very few doctors will accept medicaid.
Are you so uninformed to think doctors can stay in medical care and lose money.
Oh, I forget, with Libtards everyone must suffer for less care.

Most people understand this simple problem except for libtards.
Obviously Constitutional Law was not your strong suit at Vo-Tech.

Let me try to explain using little words.

The President doesn't write budget legislation.

The President signs budget legislation passed by the House and the Senate.

If the House and the Senate don't pass a budget, there is no legislation to sign.

Mr. President can sit at his desk, wearing his Secret Service watch, his pen poised deftly in his left hand, forever, and if no budget legislation is passed by Congress - then he'll just have to give up and go have a sandwich - cause there's nothing for him to sign.

We know your easily bored by facts, knowledge, and especially educational TV like CSPAN, but maybe with a large dose of Adderal you could make it through at least a comic book version of the Constitution.

So the point is your apologizing for your Right Wing brother falsely claiming I was "full of it" when I pointed out McGuire received over a BILLION DOLLARS" as compensation when he left United Healthcare.

I am glad you only needed three or four documented sources to agree I was correct all along.

You're not one of those Right Wingers who refuse to ever acknowledge it when we educated and informed folks try to help you understand life on Planet Earth.

Not simple enough for you it seems.
The president does indeed submit a budget, in Obamas case it's usually a lousy budget that the Repubs can't take. Heck, even some demos don't like his budget.
so Obama creates his own problems by not working with congress along with the rest of the demos and so we finally have the sequester from the mind of Obama in 2011.
This is where we are at now.
I would loan you some of my adderal but it wouldn't do you any good. It doesn't help with hyperbole.

OK, let's play this game.

I say Koch Brothers, you say Soros. They're both large-money political donors.

If we stop right there- it seems like we're talking about the same thing.

But if we actually go to the next step and look at the methodology, the motives and the fact that the Koch Brothers are as close to Satan Incarnate as we have the capability of imagining - then things start to get a little more clear-cut.
