Is it just me or is the place getting way busier and less friendly? My kids have always went there and I really like Dr. Davis, but each time we go the women who work there are more hateful. I think the women are probably understaffed but if you are going to work in the public you have to be able to fake a smile and a give a flip. Sometimes I will stand at the windown for 15 minutes with a baby on my hip and bag on my shoulder just waiting to sign in and pay my copay. And, then they finally put you in a room and leave you there for an hour, seriously. I am considering taking my children somewhere else. Sometimes I think I could drive out of town and get back before the receptionist would even look up at me at the clinic, lol.

I agree and the nurse Dr. Davis has now acts like it might kill her to smile!

If this proposed health bill gets approval you haven't seen anything yet.

Contact your congressman and request that he vote against approval.

You got that right if this health care plan is approved you will be a whole lot more aggravated when it could take a couple of months to see a doctor...Everybody needs to call your congressman and your senator and tell him that you do not want a government run health care...I know I dont want somebody in Washington to decide how or if I get my treatment

i totally agree about the clinic. i would stand there for along time and they would just sit there and look at you and go back to what they are doing. i got fed the fuck up and i opened the window myself and said "excuse me im standing here do u not notice, i have been standing here for a while and u all would just look at me and go back to ur business" of course they will say they are busy...ughh no this is EVERY single time i go in there. its ridiculous. i dont even like that clinic. i would rather go somewhere, where they have one side for healthy kids and u go to another side for sick kids. but instead the well child check up kids or the ones that are not sick have to sit there with everyone else that is sick. plain out stupid. i wont go back there again.

I have said this for some time now. It is like the office staff is on a power trip or something. They won't acknowledge that you exist & refuse to make eye contact or say I'll be with you in a minute. That is just common courtesy & I don't experience this poor attitude at any other physicians office. Anything would beat their shitty attitudes. They are receptionists for goodness sakes, why the big head?
I wish there was another local pediatrician??? Anyone have suggestions?

In my opinion, this office needs organization BAD.

The last time my little boy was sick they ignored me too. I stood at the window for I know at least 10 minutes before she acknowledged me. I know they are busy because I used to work in a pediatrician's office, but we would have been fired in a heartbeat for treating patients like that. They need to at least take your name and tell you to have a seat if they are too busy to register you at that moment. When I took my son and he was sick, I stood there with a 22 pound infant on one hip and a heavy diaper bag on the other!

Dr. Sabino in Lebanon is a very good pediatrician. I worked for her several years ago and that is where I would take mine, but can't because of our insurance.

I was at the clinc just yesterday and I saw a girl I went to HS with I didn't know she was an
lpn now. I spoke to her and she barly looked up talking about having a big head. She barly spoke to me. What she didn't know is that I'm an lpn also and in the 4 years that I have been a nurse I have never treated anyone like what has been described here on this post.

I remember in nursing school some of the people that would have made excellent nurses didn't make it and the ones that had the big head and thought they where everything did.

I get a kick out of watching some of the nurses and their attitudes and they know who they and if not someone needs to tell them. I told my mom hey if I ever start acting like that slap me back down to earth. lol

Being a nurse is not about wearing the latest fashion in scrubs or sitting and ignoring patients that are standing in front of you or acting like you are better than they are.

I am not saying all nurses are like this but you get what I'm trying to say.

I agree it takes a special person to be in the medical field and alot of people that are in it shouldn't be. I had the same problem when I took my daughter up there to get her updated shots. I stood at the window forever and they acted like I wasn't even there. I too am thinking of finding another doctor for my daughter. Maybe their staff will at least be courteous.

rolmao! first of all, an LPN shouldnt have the "big head" about anything..theyre just a licensed butt wiper..and secondly you nasty hoes pumpin out all these babies dont know what its like to work for your money! i took my kids to dr david for years and you just have to understand that YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PATIENT THEY HAVE SWEETIE! these folks are busy up to their eyeballs with phones a ringin, doctors orders bitchy patients etc. they are doing all that is humanly possible so if you dont like it tough! you should try being on the other side of the window, its called being mentally drained and exhausted! its easy to stand there with your "baby on your hip" etc... just shut up and wait your turn!!

Sounds like YOU are the LPN reject. Neither of your comments were necessary. If you can't add something intelligent to a conversation, don't bother.

You are ridiculous, if they can't handle the "stress" of an office job they need to look elsewhere for emplyment. Common courtesy isn't too much to ask from the staff here. I have been at this office first thing in the morning before they have had the opportunity to get "mentally drained" and the treatment I receive is no better. You have no business working with the public if you can acknowledge your customer within a reasonable amount of time and let them know you will be with them asap. I agree with other posters, this office staff is the worst I have ever seen, they obviously do not enjoy their jobs and it creates a bad envirmonment for patients. No other office staff at any medical facility I have ever been to has such a poor attitude as is present at the pediatrics department. My children are now patients of Dr. Sabino in Lebanon & it is remarkable how well you are treated there. I have never stood at the window waiting for someone to wait on me and my wait time to see a physician has never been over 15 minutes. AND the office staff has manners & are friendly!

Since you are trying to be a smartie, who is Dr. David? Seriously, let me tell you I have worked in the medical field for 15 years or more and in doctor's offices for about 10 of those years and that office is NOT managed well. Yes, I know they are busy as heck with the phones ringing off the hook and such, but like I said earlier they need some organization. There is usually about 3 girls sitting in that little area and I don't know what each one does, but they need one or two people to handle the phones and one person to just register patients. It is not that hard. I have worked in a pediatrician's office before, so I have been on the other side of the window. I don't mind waiting my turn, but I do think you should at least be acknowledged when you come to the window within a few minutes and told to have a seat if they don't have time to wait on you at that moment.

I would be willing to bet that you either don't have any kids or you are a man. Since you are putting down nurses, just exactly what do you do for a living?

I am an LPN and work in a very nice clinic (not in Richlands). I am not a butt wiper. LPN's work very hard and do EVERTHING an RN does except hang blood. So excuse yourself for your ignorance. We do the same work for less money. I do not want to set at a desk and do paperwork allday, which is what alot of RN's do. I like hands on. I also have taken my child to clinic for years until this winter when i found another DR because i got mad too. If i acted like the nurses and receptionists at the clinic acted I would be fired. Just remember nurses, if it wasnt for the patients you would not have a job. And yes, i have had that window slammed in my face at the clinic too. It is very degrating. I do agree they need to be alot more friendly.

anyone with a brain can see it was supposed to be Dr. Davis...and you are very wrong, working in a pediatricians office is very hard sometimes. i worked there and the office is managed very well, it patients like you, that think you should be taken in as soon as you walk up to the window is ridiculous

The reason I said that about Dr. "David" is because that poster was being a smarty about LPNs and everything else. I knew they were talking about Dr. DAVIS!

Where did I say the job wasn't hard? Where did I say that I thought I should be taken in as soon as I get there? I do, however, think you should be acknowledged within a few minutes of being at the window whether it is to say "I will be with you in a minute" or to take your name and call you back up when they get a chance. As I stated in my earlier post,(which you obviously didn't read or comprehend it)I have worked in a pediatrician's office and it is hard as heck! It is a whole different thing than working in another type of office. Even people that work at the Clinic complain about how bad it is!

Do you work there? You are getting really defensive, it makes me think you must work there. Sorry to offend you, but in my opinion it is the truth!
