I worked there. You're over worked and under paid and they smother you to death. If you want to go home everyday sore and in pain, go there. If you have any education and can find better work don't even think about Jenmar. Good luck to you either way.

dont work at jenmar...work at mcdonalds bfor u work for them cause they mistreat their employees..i think it is a shame at how those bosses are treating those men...those men work so hard everyday and they get treated so poorly... those men deserve to be treated with repect for the hard work they do but those bosses show no appreciation

i work there and yes the work is hard, and you might not get treated like a king, but guess what?? that's why it's called WORK! go ahead and work at mcdonalds, but i'll keep working at Jennmar and make over 14 bucks an hour with full health, dental, and vision benefits for me and my son, and only have to pay 26 dollars every 2 weeks for it. did i mention it was Bluecross Blueshield, with 90-10 pay and only a $100 deductable a year? i doubt mcdonalds has that good of insurance. Plus we get incentives that normall add up to over $100 a payday and a bonus every 3 months, paid vacation and paid holiday time.

My point is, if you don't like hard work, good pay, or great insurance, go ahead and work at mcdonalds. I have a kid to support and i don't think i could give him the things he wants/needs working at mikey d's.

i no all about jenmar...i no someone who works there..a very hard workingman and i no how the employees are being treated and hard work has nothing to do with how the employer is treating the employee...i no several men there that are being mistreated and some are being showed favortism and all im saying is it is wrong..employers should treat ther employees with respect and make them feel like they are doing a good job...jenmar does have good benefits and good pay but i wish they would show more appreciation for you men who work so hard..working in all that heat and tuggin on those big bolts...thats hard work and you all deserve to b showed that your appreciated

I recently applied to Jenmar, went to orientation, drug testing, physical...all that stuff. After having my orientation and filling out the paperwork, I was told I would receive a call to actually begin my training and start working. 2 weeks later, I had yet to receive a call from them, so I called them instead. From the words of the HR manager, because of the mines explosion in WV, they weren't going to hire anyone at the moment, because the mines that exploded was one of their bigger purchasers and they had lost a lot of business. Last I heard from them, they were going to start calling people back at the beginning of September. I have been out of work for over 2 months now waiting for them to call me back and I had quit my previous job to go to work for them. Personally, I don't know how a company can promise a job to someone and then back out of it completely as if you were never there. I was only 1 person out of like 10-15 that was promised a job and then never actually worked for them. If anyone has any idea if they are hiring now or if they are going to be...could you please post here and let me know if I should consider trying to look for another job or continue waiting for Jenmar to finally let me begin the job I have been waiting for...

Find a job man i work @ Jennmar and i know for a fact you will not get a job here. We have all the men we need .We do not need some snot nose kid comeing here trying to take over our work !! Waiting 2 months on a job that you will never get is stupid dude .. We stick together here at Jennmar ..And as for people being mistreated thats a bunch of BS !! If you do your work and do it well as i do then the boss will stay off your ass in any case we do have slackers here most are older men that can not keep up with us younger guys so they have to whine and cry about it !!

First off, I'm not a "snot nosed kid". I do have 5 yrs experience in this type of work and only wanted to find out if they were actually hiring. I have called up there several times and have been told they are going to start hiring soon. I just wanted to know if they really were. I have several friends that already work there and I know the employees aren't mistreated. So, that is BS. I am currently looking for work, but it simply is hard to find in this area. If anyone knows of any other places that are hiring, I would appreciate a heads up. I do have my application in at a few places, but have yet to receive calls.:( Being laid off sucks and unemployment only last for a little while. Thanks for the reply.
