I agree, they are alot of good churches in the area, and it is hard when you hear so much negative but pray and I am a firm beleiver God can you led you to the right one, reading and studing the bible is the key for if you know the word than you will not be decieved, having a home church is wonderful, having a pastor and church there for you when you are going thur a hard time, means alot. And coming togeather and praying for others and when we go to church we are honoring God not man, for they are to teach us to take the word and go out and help others. They are always people out there to make it look hard but serving God is looking beyond people and walking in the love of God. For he is love.

poem of the perfect church

i have found the perfect church
this place is so divine
it's built on a rock of love
all the people are so kind

there will never be any sorrow
tears there will not be known
in this church you'll never be lonely
for in here we all are one

come on people, let's build this church
fashioned by god on high
and when it gets completed
we'll tell this world goodbye

there is no perfect church here neither is there perfect people except we become humble as a little child we cannot enter in to heaven. children dont go around looking for peoples faults we all have them

“You'd be surprised!!!”

Don't waste your time looking down on others; spend your time looking up. We each have too many faults of our own to waste precious time on other's. I know mine keeps me busy ;)

<quoted text>now see folks like i said i do not go to church for that reason thats real christian of you to call someone stupid.apparently you must attend that church everyone is talking about or you wouldn't be so defensive.and to think i wasn't even talking bad about that church i was just making an obesrvation on the posts.and seems like your right the devil must really be in that church must be its members if you all are going to recat like this.god bless you because i do not go to church but i'll pray for you sounds ;ike you need it.
You see you don't even know if someone is calling someone else stupid. I don't think i called anyone stupid. If you are refering to my name thats not directed to anyone everything on TOPIX is stupidity. If you speak/type stuipd then that's stupidity. It's the comments that are stupid not you "just wondering". And as a matter of fact I do not go to the church in question but I do get annoyed when people talk about church's or anything else for that matter that they know absoultly nothing about. LOVE, PEACE, and HAIR GREESE! P.S. In case you can't get the point i did'nt call you nor do i think that you are stupid "just wondering".

Shane Breeding of Mending Heart Fellowship is a good preacher.Barry Absher is good.I know him and all the others that is mentioned.I will not put down a man of God but I think that they need to make sure that things is right in their lives like the rest of us do.Not everyone is going to agree on who is the best because we all have different feelings and will not always agree on the same thing. One's opinion is one's opioin who is right and who is wrong. We need to focus on getting to heaven and not who is a good preacher, they can not get us there. We do that on our own.

What about none of the above for an answer ? Though they are good ministers, the full truth isn't preached by any of them. You have to go to an apostolic church to get the full truth. Frank Lester in Richlands for one. Or also Jody bishop and Robbie Barrett in tazewell. To be really taught the word Thomas and Judy mcknight are far deeper than the showmen on the list. But it comes down to this. The best preachers in the county are unknown to many cause they believe in working for a living. And don't forget Billy ward and John Muncy. they are good old time preachers. Just because your ears are tickled don't mean the sermon was good

What ever church you go to is the church for you and you willhear the word of God.Whos is to say that there is a wroing church or this preacher or that is better. They are all men of GOD and if they are doing there calling and preaching what GOD says than what is wrong with that.THE BEST PREACHER WAS JESUS and no one can say that I am wrong on that.

I just want to ask all of you: have you studied the Bible with Jehovah' Witnesses ?

I just want to ask you a question: If you really want to know the truth (John 8:31,32) Just reading the Bible on your own is not eneough, that's why Jesus told his true followers at Matthew 19:218,29 to....... "go teach all thing I have commanded." My advise: Accept a free Bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses. I was just like you until I was 29, Jehovah's Witnesses came to my house and offered a free home Bible Study. I accepted and I have to honestly tell you, I learned more in a couple of weeks than I had learned from attending Churches. I liked the way you concluded by saying, I don't care what people think. That's what it takes because I can tell you ahead of time many people will try to discourage you from studying the Bible.
