1. Val was noted to sign off at 11:22pm, estimated time of murder 11:30pm+. Was this person already in place long before 11:22pm? Or was this someone they both knew and was comfortable with not knowing what was laying ahead.

2. For the time frame of this murder within a 7 min window someone had to have had this planned out. This was not a spur of the moment thing. If the plan was to sit and wait out when they where ready to leave to attack they would have had to be there long before 11:30pm because normal closing hours are from 10pm-10:30pm. This would mean the person/persons would have been in place watching any time before 10pm. Now from another point of view. If someone knew that things were running late and about what time they would be leaving that’s different because then it would be someone who knew them and knew how things were that night. Which comes to.

3. Did Val or Harvey call anyone from 10pm-11:22pm from any phone? Cell phone? Pizza Plus phone? Can a trace be made on cell phones in the area of calls made between 10-11:22pm, did someone call pizza plus between those times to confirm they were in fact closed?

4. Harvey was found outside at the back door. Now the question is was he attacked from someone from the outside of the store, or was he attacked from someone from inside the store? How was he laying?

5. Security system, Security Cam hangs from the ceiling, From things I have gathered this Cam did not work and had not worked for a long time.

Which comes to.......

Did this person know the cam did not work? If so how? Former Worker? Worker? Family of worker? Family of deceased?

6. If the killer/killers were driving they most likely would not simply pull up to pizza plus...

They would park somewhere else in the area, without making things to obvious

Now let’s see what options we have.

1. Car wash = someone pretending to clean there car out after hours?
2. Bank across the street = But then they might be afraid someone would think they were robbing the bank.
3. Muffler shop – Very open area, good view , lots of light not an idea spot
4. Food City – Which brings us to the hill toward Pizza Plus from this parking lot Pizza Plus, is in perfect view. Did someone park here and walk down to pizza plus, or did someone else park here and wait to pick up who ever committed the crime?
5. Maybe there was no car involved at all; did the killer/killers live so close they could walk to and from the crime scene in a matter of minutes?

Lights---

Were the lights left on during the night and still on come morning time?

If not, had Val and Harvey already turned the lights off before they were attacked? If so why was Val found inside the business with the lights off? Was she also outside when the attack occurred and ran back inside?

Did the killer take the time to turn the lights off before leaving the crime scene?(finger prints?) Or did the killer later realize the lights where left on and went back to the crime scene to cut them off?

Or was the lights left on the entire time?

Pizza Plus at night with the lights on seems it would be very well lit area. Wasn’t the killer afraid someone would see them inside pizza plus? Or where they so comfortable being inside with the lights on inside the business it didn’t bother them?

Which comes to………

The doors…….the key question here is was the doors locked when the first employee arrived and found the bodies? If the person who arrived unlocked the doors and took a peek inside the business before law enforcement got there, then that means when police did arrive the door would be unlocked. But if the employee who first arrived did not unlock the door and the doors were locked with Val inside. Were the lights off with the door locked? Or were the lights on with the door locked?

Which comes to……..

Who has a key to pizza plus?

If someone did go back to turn the lights off just in a natural reaction would they have locked the door back with lights off?

Or would they turn the lights off close the door and leave?

Which ever happened……. I do not think Val would have been in the office with the lights off to the store. Either she was outside and ran back in, or the killer took the time to turn the lights off and possibly lock the door, or return to the crime scene and do both

Alarm System, if this business has an alarm system does it have a certain time for the alarm to be set? If the alarm is not set at the correct time is there a call placed to ask why the alarm system was not turned on?

Who places this call?
Was the call placed?
Was the Alarm Set?

Does the red lights just before Pizza Plus have cameras on them to catch speeders?
Would these cameras have anything on them of interest?

I know you are very busy at the moment but I wrote something up about the Pizza Plus Murders that I want someone to see I think it makes some valid points. Hopefully in some way this can help.

My Wife is an employee of Pizza Plus, and this has affected her and myself greatly and we feel very sorry this had to happen to these two loving people. Thank You for taking the time to read this and God Bless.

This is a simple list of questions I’m sure have been asked but could possibly help in some way

1. Val was noted to sign off at 11:22pm, estimated time of murder 11:30pm+. Was this person already in place long before 11:22pm? Or was this someone they both knew and was comfortable with not knowing what was laying ahead.

These are all very good questions, I am not sure what you do for a living but you should be a PI. I wish I had the answers to all these questions for you. I can tell you must really be hurting inside to put this much thought into this.....even though I don't have the answers for you I will pray for you and your wife and maybe someday the answers will come. God Bless

These are some of the same questions that I have been thinking about the past couple of days..I have been online day and night looking at information on here and other forums as well as the news. Hopefully we will find out some more information soon and the people who committed this horrible crime will be caught.

Seems like you have thought this through. Several of these points are things I've thought of myself.

Another thing I thought of by considering the jurisdiction of all the surrounding police forces: It would seem that the section of the Cuts from the Cedar Bluff redlight to the Claypool Hill mall redlights would be a bit of a dead zone as far as police coverage is concerned. If the person took this into consideration, this could be an indication of if they are from around here or not, as well as an insight as to why Pizza Plus was chosen.

You need to be on the police force! You have such an eye for detail. Just from your analysis and my own thoughts since this tragedy, I am sorry to say I feel this was not a stranger. I think it was a former employee or possibly a family member. This seems to have been a well thought out plan. I feel someone had complete knowledge of closing procedures and the amount of cash that was possibly in the restaurant on that given night. I don't think a stranger would take a chance on whether a security camera was working or not, I think they would have to know for sure.
This person obviously had inside knowledge about Pizza Plus and the only way to obtain this knowledge would be through a former employee or quite possibly a family member, I certainly hope a family member was not involved. But sadly, you
hear of family involvment in these types of crimes everyday. Thanks for sharing all of your view points, hopefully you have peaked everyones curosity and encouraged them to sit back , look at the big picture and ask questions just as you have. One thing I have thought about is: I think the murderer found the perfect opportunity to commit this crime being that all the emails were circulating about gangs-they knew that alot of focus would be put in that direction because people are really beginning to fear the possibility or maybe even reality of gangs in our area. Just a thought!!!!

If your wife works there, then surley she has heard co workers talking. therefore some of your questions should already be answered. Like the employee who came to work and found them.(door unlocked or not?) Did all employees know that camera was not working. Who has keys? If your wife has been there along time, she probably has heard alot of people talking. maybe she could give some inside information to the police even if doesn't seem like it has anything to do with this case.(Like did these people have enemies? etc.. Most co workers knows alot of eachothers personal history. Just some food for thought.
